The Chabot Haus was an absolute pleasure. It was clean, & cozy. It’s minutes away from local restaurants and from the ski resort. The finishing touches in the house like welcoming guests with Vermont syrup and decor were a plus!! We will definitely return to continue making memories!!

This was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway to enjoy fall in VT. The property is awesome. The outdoor area has a really nice backyard with large patio, grill, fireplace and large hot tub. The layout of the house is great, super clean, and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We used the house as a launching point for hiking right from the driveway, biking the Stowe bike path, and touring the area by car. We will certainly be back again!

The space was perfect for us 7 women with beds for all. We had room to sit and laugh and share and puzzle and enjoy. Some thought it got a little stuffy because they couldn’t open windows downstairs, but that’s what happens when one’s comfort range is only 10 degrees. Overall we loved the space and privacy and great kitchen.

The house worked great for our family gathering, which had multiple generations and several young children. Jamie was a terrific host and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, even providing a pack 'n play that saved us from needing to travel with one. Finding the hard ciders, maple syrup, and other welcoming touches upon our arrival were a special treat! The location worked well with good proximity to nearby hikes, the rec path and West Branch Little River, mountain bike trails, and restaurants and shops in Stowe.

The property was gorgeous especially the backyard. The home is supplied with everything you might need and so many thoughtful extras. It was extremely easy to communicate with Jamie and the location is close to everything. We loved our stay!

We stayed at Jamie's property with our 9 month old infant. We were traveling by plane and could not bring our pack and play or high chair. We asked if they had any of these items at the house and they did not. However, Jamie ordered both items to be delivered to the house just prior to our arrival. Amazing and so appreciated.

This VRBO was great - would stay again. The host was highly communicative and clear with instruction. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed - particularly good for the larger group we were given the many beds. Truly a great stay. The two downsides/complaints (to keep the review honest - these are not deal breakers): some of the hand towels in the bathrooms upon arrival had brownish red color stains (I’m sure they were clean and just stained, but was off putting). The bigger thing of note is temperature control issue in the summer. It was hot in late June when we were there and the house only has 1-2 window AC units deep in side bedrooms and no central AC. Thus the middle and top floors got much too hot during the day and were slow to cool down at night (if they did at all).

Overall, this place was perfect for our stay. We celebrated my parents 50th Anniversary and everything about this place was what we wanted. Each family had their own space in the house and there was ample seating and room for the 10 of us to gather and soak in the air of Stowe! Thanks for a great time!

This is a wonderful house that will give you the true Vermont experience. My family along with my brothers family stayed here and it was truly memorable. The owner was great and always responsive to any questions we had. Definitely recommend this house and hope to stay there again.

The house is well located for all winter activities and touring in the Stowe area. It is well equipped and stocked with everything a group or family needs. The fireplaces and multiple family rooms were very nice and cozy for our group. 1st floor layout works well for ski equipment storage. We enjoyed our stay and working with Jamie was a total pleasure!

Great stay for our group’s business retreat. Nice open space. Very comfortable and clean. Great hot tub. Jamie was very communicative throughout.
FYI- The driveway is steep, narrow, and has ditches on both sides. In cold snowy weather it’s icy and very easy to slip off, even with AWD.

This house was perfect for a ski weekend in Stowe! It's super close to the mountain, about a 10 minute drive. It's well appointed, had everything that we could have needed throughout our stay. The house was clean, beds were comfy and the hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a day on the mountain.
One thing to note - take the AWD seriously! The driveway is steep and you absolutely will not be able to get up in the winter without having a AWD vehicle. Otherwise, the house was perfect and I highly recommend!

We stayed for a long weekend in January to ski. The location was super close to the mountain and all the restaurants and shops. Ideal location. The house itself was simply perfect. We had to 2 families and it was laid out so everyone had their private space. The house is very clean, private, well stocked with towels/kitchen items, and a picturesque backyard with hot tub! I would recommend this house and I will definitely be staying again.

Perfect rental for a family ski trip at the Stowe resort! The home is warm, comfortable, spacious, updated, quiet, clean, and accommodating for large families with kids. Our family had a great time there!
Jamie (the owner) is incredibly friendly, genuine, accommodating and super responsive. I would definitely stay here again and go business with Jamie again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the accommodations to be clean, very comfortable and well appointed. All of the little touches were nice. My wife appreciated having cotton balls and black "Make Up" towels to remove her make up. There were extra charging chords and a charging station in our bedroom, not to mention reading classes if somebody needed them.
Jamie was great to work with and was responsive to a couple of requests that we made!!

The Chabot’s house was the perfect home base for our wedding in Stowe. The hot tub was a dream and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Comfortable beds and the whole house was super clean and organized. I fully recommend this home and plan to rent again someday!

This property is wonderful. The location is very private yet close enough to all the Stowe area has to offer. We hiked right out the back yard on the Catamount trail as well as taking a short walk to the trails at Wiessner Woods. Plenty of room in the home for gathering and relaxing indoors. Awesome Hosts! Jamie’s house was perfect for our weeklong summer escape. Set away from main roads but easy to access everything Stowe & surrounding areas have to offer. We loved the yard, cornhole games and watching the stars at night—as well as a few noisy owls. We felt so welcome and had everything we needed and more.

Great Stowe Stay!
We love coming to Stowe in the summer for great hiking. Our stay this year was wonderful. The house was perfect for our group of 6, ranging in age from 7 to 74. The house was in a private setting but so close to good food and great trails. Everything was clean. All of the necessary kitchen staples were available including a fun and generous welcome gift. The jacuzzi setting is beautiful and relaxing. Will definitely stay again when we return!
