About this house rental
Situated in Cascade-Chipita Park, this charming house for $815 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Beautiful custom home in the foothills of Pikes Peak! Only 10 minutes from downtown Woodland Park, 15 minutes to the Pikes Peak tollway, and 25 minutes to Colorado Springs. Enjoy stunning views in every season without another home in sight! Feel like you're miles away from everything with the convenience of a Walmart just 10 minutes away. This property is completely surrounded by Pike National Forest and in a gated community so you can revel in the peace and quiet of the mountains. Our little town is full of hiking and biking trails just minutes from your front door. Easy access to Rampart reservoir or any of the Pikes Peak reservoirs for fishing, kayaking, or just enjoying a day by the water. Woodland Park has a new indoor Aquatic center for swimming laps or taking the kids for a fun day in their water activity center and lazy river. Just 90 minutes from skiing, snowmobiling, white water rafting and so much more. Our home has radiant floor heating and two wood burning fireplaces to keep you cozy in any weather! Need a little warm up? Hop in the hot tub just off the master suite with incredible views and wide open skies for star gazing. We do not have AC due to the high altitude and amazing climate in our area. Just open your windows and enjoy the crisp mountain air! This home is located in a mountainous region, thus we are considered high altitude. We recommend that guests start hydrating before traveling here and continue to stay very well hydrated to help avoid altitude sickness. Water, water, water!!! (Please use your own discretion when traveling to high altitude areas.) As of September 2021 the laundry facilities are open for guests. We have large capacity washer and dryer and a utility sink. Additional information: Bird/wildlife watching Trampoline with net enclosure Indoor games and movies Netflix *We have a full time renter in the apartment above the garage. There are no shared living spaces in the house, but you may see them in the driveway. They have a private deck and entrance and a designated parking space you will see in the driveway. All other space in the driveway is open for guests of the main house* **This property has two exterior security cameras for security purposes only. One covers the driveway outside the garage. The other covers the front door and front walkway.** *There is a small additional fee for parties of more than 14*

This was a wonderful location to spend Thanksgiving with extended family! The kitchen is amazing, with all the tools needed to cook big meals. Really enjoyed the heated floors and the wood stove downstairs kept it extra cozy.
The view of Pike’s Peak is breathtaking, and while you are only a short drive from town (groceries, wal-mart), it feels like you’re in another world.
A couple of notes that may be useful for those considering the property: of the 5 bedrooms, 2 are en-suite, but one of those has a triple bunkbed only. We had 2 sets of grandparents with us who really need en-suite, so one set navigated the bunkbeds. They made it work and it was their choice (2 of the downstairs bedrooms are right next to/across the hall from a bathroom, so not far at all). Secondly, if you’re visiting in winter an SUV is a smart choice, just in case there is snow. If there is snow forecast, you may want to consider 4wd. The house is up on the side of a mountain so the road to get there has some steep grades. It’s very well-maintained though!
We recommend the property and would definitely stay here again.

I have never been in a more equipped kitchen! Everything was sparkling clean, the host always responded within minutes of a request.
The house has a rustic feel which is not my first choice, but it isn't overwhelming. And there really is nothing rustic!
We had a large group, 16, so needed to do some negotiating on only 3 showers.
Hot tub is great -- chemicals and towels were right there (could probably use a step to get into the hot tub)
Second kitchen on lower level really helped food storage (full refrigerator).
The deck has a hummingbird feeder, so in addition to padded deck chairs and tables, we could see hummingbirds flitter around us.

It was absolutely gorgeous! The whole family enjoyed it so much. As we are from Ohio, we we aren’t used to such drives up the mountain. LOL Our daughter got married up at another VRBO higher up the same road and it was very convenient to be so close. We would definitely consider renting this home again! Lovely place, again thank you.

We rent quite a few nice homes throughout the year but this one became my favorite within the first day. It’s location is remote, but just 15min or less from groceries, Starbucks and arts/crafts stores.
The view of Pikes peak is very nice to wake up to every morning.
What set this apart though, is how clean the home was. It felt like we were at home here! This will be the first place we try to book on our future Colorado adventures.

The house was perfect for our large family group! The house was stocked well with kitchen utensils/blankets/sheets. My family and I loved everything about the house from the amenities to the beautiful Mountain View! Rebekah was a wonderful host and was super quick to respond to any questions we had! Everything we needed was provided here. The kitchen was the most well-stocked one I have ever used. The bedrooms were comfortable and great for the children in our group.
Our only problem was the Wi-Fi. It was out most of the time. We had to use a hot spot to get any sevice.

Beautiful surroundings
The house was beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. The hosts provided everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location is perfect with a view of Pikes Peak. You are very close to town so getting groceries was a breeze. We will definitely remember this vacation with fond memories.

Amazing get away!
This property was truly remarkable! Spectacular views and close to all of the best hiking spots and Manitou Springs. The accommodations were great and the kitchen had everything you will need for family dinners. I would definitely bring my family back to this property! The owner was so accommodating and so nice. If I could leave a 6-star rating I would!

Beautiful View
We loved this house and enjoyed our stay. It fully accommodated our group. The kitchen is well stocked, which is nice to see. The view is great. The house is up a long windy dirt road and separate from the other houses. It was not a big deal with the renter. You do not have access to the laundry room nor the garage. The majority of the closets are not available to use. The owner did make an exception and allowed us to use the laundry since shampoo exploded all over one suitcase. The master and one queen bed is up and each have an en suite. The rest are downstairs. There are two bathrooms on each floor. You do have to take the trash to a dumpster at the bottom of the road. However, glad to see recycles available. We would recommend this house.
