Nestled in Dry Fork, this charming house for $199 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Abundant Blessings is a multi-level home in the Timberline, Slope side, North Face community. The 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home sits on a beautiful wooded lot with mountain views and across the street from Timberline's Famous Salamander Ski Trail, Outside you will find decks on all three floors, a hot tub on the cozy private back deck, overlooking the brook which sounds fabulous as you lounge inside the hot tub. Enjoy 2 living areas both with fireplaces. Spacious fully equipped kitchen with standard coffee machine and Instant Pod Coffee & Espresso Maker. This fabulous four seasons home is a honey of a spot for winter ski outings, summer hike & bike outings, and fall season leaf peeping, as you are already beside the trail for exploring the mountains and beyond! You can hike up the mountain to the crossover trail to Dolly Sods! Abundant Blessings is a great escape yet close to all the activities of the region including Timberline Mountain by Perfect North, Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center, Blackwater Falls State Park, Whitegrass, Dolly Sods Wilderness Area, and all th quaint shops and galleries of Thomas and Davis. 4wd is required in winter Don't forget your pooch as this home is pet friendly! $70 per pet fee required Bed 1: Queen Bed with master bath Main Floor Bed 2: King Bed Upstairs Bed 3: 1 Bunk Upstairs Bed 4: Full Bed Downstairs 1/2 bath on Main Floor All Canaan Realty guests have complimentary access to the privately owned Mirror Lake Recreation Area. Fantastic weekend at timberline. Very close to Salamander!

We had a blast, our son included several of his friends from school too. Right next to slopes. Weather delivered plenty of snow. House was spacious. My son and his friends used the downstairs floor while my wife and I had our own area upstairs. Roaring fireplace the whole time. Does have fairly steep road to driveway, four wheel drive required if winter weather expected.

The cabin was exactly what my family needed after exploring blackwater falls, Seneca rocks and dolly sods! Enjoyed the hot tub and cozy cabin. Everything was very clean and had everything we needed!

Perfect property to get away from the DC Metro noise and chaos. So tranquil and relaxing..you feel an absolute calm as soon as you pull up. Then being able to sit outside and listen to the stream. Very awesome how pet friendly this house was. Multiple gates to corral dogs on the porches so they could enjoy the calm of the outdoors off leashes! Cannot rave enough about the atmosphere of this location and the charming area around. It is nice to get away from all the noise and tech and get back to the simple basics of people. Everyone around is so friendly...driving down the dirt road everyone waves and smiles...something you rarely to never see here.

Overall impression - this house is quite spacious and comfortable. It is located in a cluster of houses adjacent to ski slopes (some of these houses - not this one - are ski in - ski out). The house has two regular, nice bedrooms, one bedroom with bunk beds and a basement bedroom with a twin bed, attached by its side to a king-sized headboard (so there is no headboard to prop your pillow against - not the ideal situation). Cleanliness is adequate, but it is not squeaky clean. Bring your own soap, trash bags, paper towels etc.

Enjoyed very much to share with my family!! Had home ready upon arrival and in great shape!! Disappointed with bed in basement especially when counted on it to be full size bed for Grandson and wife who he is 6 foot 7 inches !! Please prepare people for that! Jenni and Staff were fantastic!!

Beautiful House
This is a lovely house. It had alot of space. It did not have air conditioning. It did stay pretty cool towards the evening, we used the fans, and opened the windows then it was nice. It could use some better cleaning. Just some things were dusty. The hit tub was amazing. Over all, i would recommend this house. We had a great time.

Great place for a wintery getaway!
Nice cabin right on the slopes of Timberline Mt. We met up with family from different areas for Thanksgiving and the home had everything we needed. It snowed while we were there so sitting in the hot tub surrounded by falling flakes was a favorite. One downfall, the area of the road this house is on is super steep and wasn’t super well serviced by the resort and we had a few scary slides down the mountain even in our 4wd. Overall, very lovely place!

We rented this house in the summer. It has great hikes close by (Dolly Sods). The house had everything we needed. It was comfortable and spacious. Only complaint: the carpets and furniture had lots of animal hairs, probably from a previous occupant. They definitely need a thorough cleaning.

We've rented homes in the Timberline ski are for several years and I guess we've gotten a little spoiled with slopeside homes. Although Abundant Blessings is just across the road from Salamander it is not an easy walk. It is more like a scramble up the hill (which I finished by crawling up!) One couple in our group preferred to drive down the hill to get to the slopes rather than climb the hill. In general, Abundant Blessing was a really nice home, cleaner than most of the properties we've stayed in and much better equipped. It has a traditional coffee maker as well as a keurig style maker and a tea maker. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, serving wear, non-stick skillets that really were non-stick, a crock pot and the frige was reasonably big. Once we found the main internet access the wifi was ok but the home could use a mesh extender for better coverage. The hot tub was really clean and nice. Parking in the winter could be an issue but we were fine. While we probably won't stay here again for a ski trip, it is a great home and I would definitely recommend it for a getaway weekend or week!

Nice house in Timberline Mountain, WV
We stayed for a long weekend and we had a good time. Pros: nice cabana feeling, 500 ft from the ski slopes of Timberline Mtn, room for 10 people,hot tub, pet friendly, warm and cozy, management very responsive and easy to contact. Cons: you really need 4WD to get there in winter (chains weren’t good enough so one of us parked few feet down the hill but not a big deal for us), it is advertised for 11 ppl but it is really accomodating only 10 ppl, kitchen counter top area a bit small for such a big group (we were only 7), they charge a cleaning fee but they ask guests to wash a load of towels, strip sheets from the beds, take the trash out to the rental agency. I think you are better off to bring your own towels/sheets if it is to rely on the previous guests cleaning them properly. :) Beds: up BR1 -king, BR2-2 bunk beds, shared big bath with king, main: 1 Q, private bath, 1/2 bath, lower: 1 full with full bath, 1 sleeping sofa. We had a good time overall and the scenery, skiing and weather were wonderful.

Well kept mountain house
The property is on a ski mountain in a development, but is nicely set back in the woods so it still feels private. The property itself is very nice with a three level deck, hot tub, and grill. All the amenities were there. The only thing we did not find that would have been nice to have was a welcome binder with area info. We enjoyed the small lake that is included in the property and found some lovely hikes at the nearby state forests and the Dolly Sods wilderness area. If you love the outdoors I highly recommend this area.
