Couldn’t have found a more perfect place to stay. The location and ambiance were perfect.

Our stay at the cottage was absolutely wonderful. It was away from the hustle of town, but an easy drive to get places. The open air concept was wonderful and we enjoyed the horses/cows behind us as well as puppy love from Loki. Even the 'local' rooster we got used to - we just crowed back and he got quiet. We will definitely recommend this rental to anyone wanting to visit and stay in a great place away from the madness of the resorts.

Great location to explore the South shore of Kauai

This is a wonderful private cottage with everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach or a lazy day in the screened in porch.

We stayed at this house for our 30th anniversary trip. It was exactly as described on the site., had everything we needed and is a beautiful home. House is very close to Kola. There are several food trucks nearby making it very convenient for meals. The lanai was a perfect spot for our morning breakfast. Only 2 small complaints , a blind on the lanai where the fixed glass would make it more enjoyable later in the mornings. We had a rooster that liked to roost in a tree right outside our bedroom window and start crowing around 2::00 am a couple of mornings.

I greatly enjoyed my stay here in a pleasant, residential neighborhood with greenery surrounding me. I was minutes away from any needed amenities but felt happy to be away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were wonderful, and I'd love to return!

This property is located in a rural setting just outside of Old Koloa Town. We were close to our friends staying at Poipu Beach and other attractions in the area. The property owner stayed close by and was kind, helpful, and attentive to any questions we had. The home was clean and offered beach gear. The beautiful views of the mountains from the porch made each breakfast an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this property.

It is spacious, with a beautiful lanai and gorgeous mountain views. There are fruit trees in property, and it is set back behind the main house so it is secluded and quiet. The house comes with a detached garage that also has everything you need for your vacation -- grill, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, fins, and two bikes! And Lindsey and her family are so nice! Skip the hotels and condos, trust me. This is island living! Mahalo Lindsey and family. The cottage is a great place to stay with easy access to multiple points of interest across the south shore. And, very friendly dog next door in case you're missing your own dog back home!

The cottage had everything our family of 5 needed. It was quiet, cool, comfortable, clean, and had extra beach items that helped. We will book again if the opportunity is there. Great experience, Willi was an excellent host! Mahalo!

We absolutely loved staying at this cottage! I cannot say enough wonderful things. The location was perfect. We loved the property! We saw cows and chickens and felt like we were locals. Relaxing on the gorgeous porch was our favorite thing to do. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. Willi was great to work with! We will absolutely stay here again-we miss it already!

We adored staying here. The screened porch made our stay so enjoyable as we could sit outside at any time of day, rain or shine. We spent afternoons sitting on the screen porch reading and looking out at the lovely lush landscape behind the property. The house was cosy and clean, and Willi came by to say hello, which was lovely. The perfect place to relax.

The listing says the Internet is DSL but it is actually a faster Cable feed. (I was able to conduct several hours of online Zoom meetings with no video or audio hiccups at all!) The second bedroom has a wall that opens up to enlarge the living room and allows fresh air to flow freely through. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots and pans we needed. We loved our stay.

This is a sweet little spot for a peaceful stay close to charming Old Koloa Town and the beaches of Poipu. We loved the area, horses, open fields and view from our lanai of the sunrise over the mountains. The cottage is located on the owner's property and close to a few other houses, but we had all the privacy we needed and felt miles away from the business of town. The cottage is much nicer and more spacious than the photos allow for. Willi is an amazing host who went over and above by providing fruit and veg picked from the trees in her garden, extra life jackets for our kids, and lots of books to keep them entertained when we ran out of reading material. Our kids loved running around the yard, using the picker to grab oranges off the trees to make OJ, and visiting the horses down the lane. Be warned, this place - like every where in Kauai - is home to thousands of roosters who enjoy crowing at all hours of the night but we got used to the early to rise early to bed routine. We feel so lucky to have found this gem. It absolutely was the highlight of our visit.
