Amazing location. Friendly staff (tks Idris for looking after us). Nice and comfortable tents. Plenty of activities, but most important amazing sand dunes to explore.
The arrival at the camp driving your own 4x4 through the desert is already filling you with excitement. The desert tour (3hrs) was an good eye opener to the vastness of the space
It is a shame that water can not be dispensed in a more eco friendly way, as you need plenty of those tiny little bottles, in a 35C environment! A water cooler dispenser would go a much longer way, and most will be able to refill their own bottles!
Pity of visible telephone masts in the desert....but can understand connectivity has brought some benefits for those living and working there, therefore a worthy price to pay.

Everything about our stay was great, from the pickup at the designated parking lot and the drive to the camp to the location itself. We were treated to a fantastic sunset and a beautiful sunrise. The rooms were spacious, and ours had a balcony with a wonderful view of the sunrise. The bathroom was a little small, but perfectly fine for a desert stay.
There are plenty of activities to choose from, and we tried quad biking. However, I would recommend picking just the activities you’re genuinely interested in rather than trying to do everything. Simply spending time in the desert with your family or friends is an experience in itself.
One of the best things about this camp is its location. When we visited, we were the only group staying there, and there were no other camps nearby. This gave us a wonderful sense of solitude and made the experience feel truly special. Despite being so isolated, we never felt unsafe, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff.
One of the highlights of our trip was lying outside after dinner, looking up at the countless stars and flights. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience. The food was also very good, and the staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and helpful.
The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the accommodation, food, location, and activities included.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic desert experience. Watching the sunset and sunrise, enjoying the solitude, and spending a night under the stars made this one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Oman.
The only minor downside was the preference for cash payments. Although they have a card machine at the parking lot, we were requested in advance to bring cash. With the activities, our total bill ended up exceeding the cash we had brought, but thankfully, we were able to pay the remaining amount by card without any difficulty.

The staff were extremely friendly and kind. They answered our myriad questions and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. We also went on a night trek with Adris bhai and he showed us many desert creatures. We also saw a scorpion! 🦂 the food prepared by him and Muhammad Yousuf bhai was delicious and ample. There were also apples, oranges, water, date cookies along with tea and coffee that we could enjoy free of charge. The rooms and bathroom had a lot of space, were sparkling clean, and had towels to go along with fresh sheets and a sit down area with a lovely carpet. Another plus point was that the camp was well into the desert with only 7-8 tents (small enough to keep the noise and light pollution low, along with stunning views of the sunset and sunrise). We got lucky and had the entire camp to ourselves. I would highly recommend staying here.

Good location with small number of tents. Good views for sunrise and sunset.
No hot water for shower even it was taken at 6pm while owner said there will be hot water before 9pm. Not enough food for dinner and breakfast for those who paid but late for breakfast (fruits, French toast and tea cups were all running out)
