An excellent house for our family of 5 people! The house is very spacious, has all facilities and everything is nice and clean. In the back there is an enclosed courtyard/terrace and 2 balconies where we enjoyed the afternoon sun. All in all the place fully lives up to the description as well as the pictures! Bad Sachsa has good shopping opportunities and offers several places to explore. We drove a couple of times to the top of Ravensberg, from where you can hike or just enjoy the great view. Sachsenstein can also be recommended, a beautiful area southeast of the city with an ancient castle ruin. There is a ½ hour drive to Schierke from where you can take the train or walk to the top of Brocken. The host was really helpful and all communication was in english.
