We had a great time at Patio Azul. The location was quiet, and the view from the property was stunning! The staff was very friendly, especially Carlos at the front desk. Our penthouse was very comfortable.
There was a power outage one evening (a common occurrence during storms), but the hotel did not have candles for the rooms. It would have been a nice touch!

The ocean view was really beautiful. Apart from that I loved the decor of the room, very traditional and modern at the same time.

The hotel layout was very unique and the staff were so warm and friendly. The views from the hotel room and the communal areas were stunning.
The only downside is that there are no elevators so if you have luggage, you have to carry it up/downstairs. The only other thing which was totally outside of the hotel's control was that it was so stormy one night there was a power outage, which was quite scary if you're a solo traveller but thankfully the power came back on not too long after.

Zuly the receptionist was super efficient and attentive to my concerns. The indoors. The view.
The local loud music from the kitchen while having a meal at the patio, where a different background music was played too. Staff talking loudly between them, making hard to enjoy the view and meal. Also the lack of safety, a large old umbrella collapsed on my face while lay down on the deck chair, no apologies either. Too many stairs and confusing to get out in case of evacuation.
