Convenient to where we needed to be
The property was very old the security chain on the door was broken and the window catches were also broken making the room not secure when we were away the carpet had stones scattered in it.

Very friendly, helpful guy at front desk. When I realised the power had tripped in my room, it was after reception opening hours. I called and left a voicemail, and he drove back to the motel to fix it for me, very quickly too. There were a loud bunch Tradies next door outside of their rooms drinking, and I heard him tell them they better not disturb me, which was thoughtful of him - they lowered their voices after that which I really appreciated. Bistro next door is handy. Super clean, and I had a very comfy nights sleep. Face washers! So many hotels don’t offer them but this one does. Also had shampoo & conditioner, extra blanket, iron and ironing board etc.
The power trip caused the fridge to defrost, so the freezer was full of water giving off an unpleasant damp smell when I entered. Went away overnight as the fridge cooled. Make sure you only put the fridge dial to half way of it’ll freeze everything - very strong little bar fridge! Heater was too loud to sleep with it on, so I used the extra blanket. Hair dryer didn’t work, so I told old mate about it when I left.
