een rustig en landelijk verblijf met een zeer goed ontvangst , alles tip top in orde.

landelijke mooie locatie gelegen in een park nabij een rustig dorpje. Magalie is een geweldige gastvrouw die alles goed opvolgt en zeer lekker kan koken met gerechten uit de moestuin.

Beautiful location and grounds but poor guest facilities.

Beautiful grounds and lovely atmosphere.

Poor facilities for the money we paid. A bit weird that we had to decide what to eat for breakfast and order that the night before. Bed didn’t have a headboard and was under an eve so couldn’t sit up in bed to read. Shower was terrible, cheap and splashed everywhere. No shower cap, no shampoo/ conditioner, no shelf in the bathroom for our toiletries, only one power point by the bed so had to unplug bedside lamps to charge phone. Milk was long life not fresh and no milk for lactose intolerant guests. Croissants were not fresh, more like frozen and defrosted. Host was sweet but didn’t feel relaxed around her. She was cooking dinner, welcoming guests, checking us in and then serving breakfast. I was exhausted watching her.

beautiful location and very charming buildings. very friendly owners, who were very welcoming. great towels and bed linen.

the floor where the room was had a very strong, stale smell, making it hard to enjoy being in the room. it was indicated as having a charger for electric vehicles (which we explicitly searched on), which appeared to be a regular power plug. we arrived at late notice, so were confronted with limited food options, which we understand. unfortunately was the execution of it not the best we ever had, which gave us a bit disappointing food experience. given the (high) price of the room and services offered, the quality of the whole experience should definitely be taken some notches up.

A beautiful getaway only an hour away from Paris - Stayed for 4 nights

The location and surrounding of the property is beautiful, we stayed in the cottage which was perfect for us (It was our first trip with our baby and we needed a spacious place that has all the necessities). What I liked the most was the location of the property - It’s next to a beautiful church on one side and a nice quiet forrest on the other side. The Owner ( Magali) will always get out of her way to make sure you are comfertable during the stay. We are definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent stay in the Blue Mill

A very welcoming place! We immediately felt most welcome, were spoiled with an aperitif and then served a wonderful pre-ordered meal in a beautiful environment outdoors. Hélène and Manu were very nice and relaxed and we had a wonderful evening in the Blue Mill. We loved our room which was very tastefully decorated, had a separate bathroom with an excellent shower. The bed was very comfy (so important!) and we had a nice look on to the murmuring brook (and a nice sound too). The village of Dourdan is definitely worth a visit and there are many interesting places to visit in the vicinity. I should not forget the excellent breakfast with a nice choice of yummy things!

Left early. Would not return.

Quiet rural location. A group of old restored character buildings around a central grass area with good size clean pool. Ample parking & sun loungers. Friendly welcome. The cool bedroom was welcome in a heatwave but a fan & fridge would have been nice.

1. Dinners disappointing, simple & expensive. Hard metal chairs & tables without cushions or table covering. Uncovered bread, butter, fruit & marmalade for breakfast on table before arrival encouraging wasps. 2.Dog problem: begging for food, following us around, sitting next to our table or pool lounger cleaning itself. Much dog poo on grass. 3.No fresh linen or towels provided during 5 day stay or offer of rubbish removal (beyond Covid restrictions) 4. Beds uncomfortable & charged 15 euros to divide into 2 beds.

100% recommendation for this beautiful and lovely place.

We had a very comfortable room with view to the woods. The manor is romantic and very neat. You can enjoy nature in the surroundings or visit one of the lovely towns nearby. The hosts are very cordial and helpful and they serve a very lovely breakfast every morning. They gave us many advice for trips and a lot of helpful information. Magali speaks english very well so understanding is not an issue even if one does not speak french. A safe bet is also the optional homemade dinner which is worth every Euro.

Absolutely nothing negative to say.
