Location, location, location - views over Lake Albert are stunning, room, pool food and staff were fantastic.
Great pit stop between Kibale and Ziwa. Would definitely finity recommend.

I can’t say enough about this place. I have visited most of the major lodges in Uganda but this place really impressed me. Just as I approached the gate, I could tell the view was going to be one of the best. Sure enough, once in the reception area you get a great view of the lake and the Blue Mountains but step into the primary hall and the view is even more impressive. You are on the edge of a high plateau and the expanse is breathtaking.
The staff are all incredible nice and make you feel super welcome. They are very attentive but certainly know how to do so without being too “in your face”, something that makes all the difference for me. Beautifully snd tastefully landscaped and decorated. Just the right touch for my taste. Food and drinks were world class. They could have had a bit more ice for the drinks but I think they were having an issue with the ice maker. I’m sure it’s fixed by now.
Anyway, don’t miss Kikonko, it’s a pearl in “The Pearl of Africa”. Quiet, so peaceful and Eco Committed!!!

The place was very authentic for the area.
I think it was expensive for what it was. The dinner was expensive and we did not have a choice to go to a nearby restuarant.
