We stayed at So Good Haad Rin Hostel for three nights and had a very good experience. We stayed in a 10-person mixed dorm and, when we arrived, we were actually the only two people in the room. Everything was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bunk beds offer a lot of privacy, especially because the sleeping areas extend quite far back.
The price was also very reasonable. Around the Full Moon Party dates, it is naturally more expensive, but that is the case with pretty much every hostel in Haad Rin, so booking early is recommended.
The outdoor area with the hammocks is really nice, and the whole hostel has a very relaxed atmosphere. Outside of the Full Moon Party dates, it seems to be very quiet and almost empty, which makes it a great place to relax. Overall, a really good hostel experience!
The only thing we noticed was that the left-hand shower in our room had almost no water pressure. The right-hand shower worked fine, though, so it wasn’t a major issue.
Also, if you’re specifically looking for a very social, party-focused hostel where you can easily meet lots of people, this might not be the best choice. During our stay it was extremely quiet, although we were there right before the Full Moon Party.

Staff were great, beds were comfy, it was very clean
The hand tissue to dry hands was awful, very thin so just got stuck to you. Also I had avacado in my fruit bowl for breakfast.

The location is great if you come here for the full moon party or just want to relax by the beach. The rooms are very clean and the outdoor area is perfect for chilling.
The hostel is not very social and quite remote. Most of the staff didn’t speak English which made it hard to communicate. I had an issue with the room I was in and it wasn’t handled very professional or friendly.
