It was a good experience and the hotel was also a good and comfortable price for staying.

It was a nice place that is not too expensive, nor far from the train station. However, Hualien is not particularly accessible with a car, so many places we wished to go were out of reach for this location.
If you have a vehicle there is no problem but if not, I would recommend finding something closer to the bustle.

It was quite cheap for a private room but not very clean or comfortable. Will look elsewhere for a budget room when I go back to hualien.
