Anchor House is the main three bedroom plus loft two bath home on the second and third levels. Garage access is also included. There are two king beds, a queen and two kid's beds so this is the perfect setup for two couples and four kids or even three couples and two kids. But remember, we only separate this upstairs home from its downstairs apartment in the off-season.
This home offers gulf and pool views in the Sand Point neighborhood which has restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub, beach boardwalk and golf cart access. Oh! and speaking of Sand Point, the Sand Point neighborhood is in town at marker #9 on the beach next to Beach Lodge (NOT way out of town, so far down Hwy 361 you can't even get a pizza delivered). In fact you'll only be a mile from the downtown area. The neighborhood offers a relatively large private pool and hot tub area exclusive to Sand Point plus a VERY SHORT private boardwalk and path over the dune. So there's no hiking or driving necessary from a home you just thought was going to be close to the beach. If you've ever stayed elsewhere you know what I'm talking about. But even if you don't have first hand experience in what I'm saying, why chance it? Stay with us at Anchor House in Sand Point and here's another great reason why.
Sure most places have a coffee maker, and maybe a toaster but do they also have a blender, can opener, shrimp deveiner and remote controls that actually work? And are they fully stocked with complete cookware, dinnerware, glassware and silverware along with complete bedding linens and towels for the number of guests the home accommodates, as well as brand name dish soap, laundry detergent, body wash, dishwashing detergent, coffee filters, trashbags, paper towels and high quality toilet paper all purchased by moms that care, for moms that care? Anchor House has all this and more! So again, if you've stayed elsewhere, you know what I'm talking about. Try Anchor House for once and see how it works perfectly for your family too. There's also a very popular restaurant in the neighborhood just steps from the home. The Beach Lodge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual setting right on the beach. In fact it's the only place in Port A to get a pot boil crab dinner and beer on the beach.

Pet friendly is a must for our family. This property was great. We had plenty of room and the property was clean. Community Pool was practically in our backyard. Didn’t get too noisy. The beach was a hop, skip, and jump away. You could walk through the restaurants beach access or to the left was a boardwalk for hauling things or wagons. I loved the garage being accessible. We would open the door and drop all of our beach gear and then haul it out again the next day. The garage fridge was great for ice bags. Kitchen is fairly stocked with tools. But we did have to buy grill brushes and such things. Two outdoor showers, one with hot water and another with just cold. The top outdoor shower is covered for more privacy. Outdoor seating on all three levels. Plenty of parking in driveway. 1-2 minute walk down to the beach. We would rent this property again.

We enjoyed our stay. With only 1 bathroom / shower on the bedroom level (3rd floor) there is a lot of sharing and coordination reqd. 2nd shower is outside and on the 2nd level and is not really setup as a restroom to get ready for the day but it works ok to rinse off from day at beach if you bring your clothes down from up stairs. Also it does not provide full privacy. Good place to stay. Clean. The chk in process is not setup to be convenient for the renter. You need to call in advance and meet at another location to sign paperwork to chk in. There are a lot of outdoor space on patio, just do not count on any afternoon shade. The family room is good size and offers seating for about 6. The kitchen is adequately setup.

Had a great visit to the coast. Beach lodge restaurant and bar were nearly onsite and right next to the sand fest location! Pool and hot tub were great, plenty of grills available for guests. Outdoor shower access with changing room is a great feature. Plenty of tvs - suggest bringing your own tunes and speakers.
