Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order. You may find valuable winter driving tips from the CHP here: https://bit.ly/3IKiY7n Summer Patio Furniture Patio furniture is available for your use during summer months only. All outdoor tables, chairs and loungers are put into storage in the fall, in order to protect the furnishings from winter weather. Barbecue grills, however, do remain outside for your enjoyment. Black bears are very common in this area and have become habituated to human food and garbage. Because bears no longer have a strong fear of humans, you may encounter bears during your spring, summer and fall stays. Feeding bears is illegal. We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The location was very convenient to Palisades/Alpine for skiing and to local Tahoe City restaurants. The layout of the house was great for a group with two gathering areas, a large and well appointed kitchen, and a great backyard. The house was clean, modern, and the check in and out process was easy.

Awesome house with plenty of space for 7 adults. Spectacular fireplace with stone from floor to ceiling. Viking range in a very spacious kitchen. Pool table on upper level was in very good condition. Backyard has two levels. Bottom level has jacuzzi and area for ping pong table. Upper level has plenty of space with a Lynx barbecue and outdoor furniture. Location is a short walk to town. We did mountain biking with trails right off the end of street. Great palce!
