Located in Southold, this charming house for $850 per night is a great option for your next trip. Waterfront (with dock) beach house located on Goose Creek, Southold (North Fork, LI). This custom-built new construction (2014) 2,000 sq.ft. home exudes that coastal New England summer vibe. Its waterfront location allows for endless swimming, paddling and watersports right outside your door. Start your day early with a paddle on tranquil Goose Creek or soak up some rays in the sand and on comfy lounge chairs. Alternatively, bring your own boat or rental for longer excursions to Peconic Bay, Greenport, Shelter Island, Sag Harbor and more. Afternoon plans can include a visit to one (or several) of the many excellent wineries dotting the North Fork or nearby Greenport Harbor Brewing (15 options within 5 miles). Stroll through the quaint village of Southold (founded 1640, oldest English settlement on Long Island) or the bustling seaport of Greenport and discover the region’s growing arts scene, exploding artisanal foods options and wonderous farm stands. You’ll soon have your favorite vineyard, farm stand, cheese place, coffee roaster and personal oyster supplier… and there goes the afternoon. Alternatively, pick up your shellfish permit and go clamming right off the dock outside the house. Be sure to be back in time, however, to enjoy the epic sunsets from the expansive deck and/or balcony while you savor your local wines, specialty cocktails and masterful BBQ. Finish the evening off by gathering your group around the firepit for s’mores and a nightcap. Your accommodations include: 4 bedrooms, 3-1/2 baths. 5+ Stars. Hands Down our favorite location after renting for 12 years on the North Fork. Dan and Carolina's home is perfect. It has every amenity you can imagine and more. Its location on the Goose Creek Inlet is a 10 minute kayak paddle to the Goose Creek Beach and Peconic Sound. Cycling from the home is ideal. Location to 3 iconic beaches is within 5 minutes from the home. Dan was so responsive and available. We hope to be regulars in years to come. Thank you both for an incredible experience.

Throughly enjoyed our stay at this property. House was exactly as pictures show and everything exceeded our expectations. House was clean and ready for us. Owners communication entire process was perfect, all my questions were answered and upon arrival was a comprehensive 15 page document that provided All instructions how to run the house and property (how to access lightning, sound, grill, beaches , kayaks, etc) and many recommendations for to things to do and restaurants. Just a short bike ride into town. We also utilized the dock and enjoyed outstanding boating in the surrounding areas. June 2022.

Incredible Waterfront Stay
Everything about our stay at Dan's waterfront home on the North Fork was perfect. From iconic sunsets over the water to the high quality amenities throughout the house, we could not have been happier with our time here. Comfortable beds, large kitchen with all top of the line appliances, sonos speaker system throughout the house - it was all fantastic. The absolute highlight, though, was being able to go out each morning and paddleboard to the beach ! Dan is an excellent host and we cannot wait to be back.

Vacation on the Creek
This was our second summer renting Dan's house on the creek and it was another amazing vacation. Nothing like waking up to the view of the creek in the morning and watching the sunset at night. Can't wait for next summer!

Perfect summer getaway
We had an amazing 3 weeks here. A nice little hidden secret. The house was beautiful and right on the water with the best sunsets. Dan was very helpful with anything we needed. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Spectacular property, inside and out. Every room was designed with care and good taste. The water views from the master bedroom and the kitchen/great room were beautiful, especially at sunset.
