We really enjoyed our stay at La Torretta! Our room was spacious, and we especially appreciated having a good-sized kitchen and bathroom. It was lovely to have the extra space to spread out and feel comfortable. There was also plenty of hot water for showers, and our host was very responsive whenever we needed something. Parking was available, although finding a spot each day was a bit like playing roulette! Eventually, something always opened up. Overall, it was a great base for exploring the area.
The shower occasionally sprayed water outside the shower area. The kitchen could also benefit from a few more essentials, such as additional cutlery, glasses, mugs and bowls in assorted sizes. We did ask our host for a few things, and he was very prompt in bringing them to us. However, we didn't want to keep bothering him, so we simply made do with what was provided.
There was occasionally some street noise from the soccer club nearby and the restaurant, but it wasn't overly disruptive. One small kitchen design issue worth mentioning is the gap behind the counter, as there is no backsplash to prevent things from falling behind it. Unfortunately, I managed to lose a fork and knife down there!
