I did not ask what the ‘Chomklong’ in ‘Chomklong Experience’ stands for, but based on our stay, it might just as well mean ‘absolutely amazing’. The entire property is incredibly beautiful and charming, our rooms were super clean, the water was hot, wifi was fast, breakfast was amazing, and the service was outstanding.
The hotel is situated right next to a huge and hugely quirky restaurant that is a must-visit. It’s also close enough to the night market and the train/bus stations.
I can’t find a single flaw with this place. Of course, it’s a budget hotel so, for example, the bathroom is rather small, but that’s absolutely to be expected, and it’s a small detail in light of the overall value-for-money proposition.

We couldn't have asked for anything better. The location is right on the edge of the reserve and yet you can walk into the city in 5 minutes. It's quiet, well decorated. Interesting Vibe. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They even brought a mosquito coil when we were having a drink on our balcony even though there were no mosquitoes around at the time.

So peaceful. Lovely staff, great varied breakfast. Riverside location with peaceful balcony. Easy access to town and night market with free use of bikes. We also organised through Chomklong Experience a private 2 day tour to Khao Yai Natural Reserve - our guide Tata was brilliant - knew where to go to find game and especially birds. His telescope was great, bringing us close to bird and animal life. Highly recommended.
