Good value for money
No dishwasher, minimal heating. No linen provided which is fine but at least a tea towel to dry dishes if there is no dishwasher.

Great place for a family of 6. The deck was great for all our meals, with friendly kangaroos dropping in for a visit. Beds and pillows were comfy. It was helpful having the 2nd bathroom downstairs. Love the location, a quiet sleepy beachside town. Local coffee shop was excellent and very close. Local beach was great and it was a short drive to the National Park and more gorgeous beaches. The staff were really helpful especially when the main fridge wasn’t working properly, they were quick to sort out a solution. They also provided additional fans during the heatwave.
The stove was pretty old and weary, the oven was very slow. The fridges need renewing.

Easy location for beaches and cafes
House is stuck in the 1960s and is very basic. No fans or AC unit, so no heating or cooling at all. Ancient cooker with a broken hob. Bathrooms don't have extraction fans. Lots of mosquitoes in the house at night, even though we kept the screen doors closed at all times. The BBQ was rusted through underneath but 3 of the 4 burners worked okay.
No WiFi and Optus has no signal there at all. Telstra did have internet and cell service.
The house sleeps 7 but the sofas only have seats for 5, and the dining table is only for 4 people. There is the pool room and extra bathroom downstairs, but there is no internal staircase to link the two floors.

The location was superb. The house was spacious and extremely well equipped and maintained. It had everything you would need for a holiday at the beach. Kitchen equipment and utensils, etc were fantastic. Books, games, etc were a wonderful resource. The Welcome folder was comprehensive, informative and very useful.
Only down side was having to get or bring our own linen and towels.
