A perfect destination for adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts, this home is a great way to explore all that the Outer Cape has to offer. After enjoying a day at the beach of your choice, hop on your bicycle and cruise the Cape Cod Rail Trail, or grab lunch at famous Arnold’s Lobster & Clam Bar. The cottage sleeps six; four in one room with 2 Full beds, and two in another with 1 Queen bed. Just outside the cottage you will find an outdoor shower and grill, to fully enjoy those gorgeous summer evenings. The inside of the house was incredibly clean, but the outside was barren, including the "lawn". Even though the furniture was comfortable, it was mismatched with no thought given to decor. The bedroom dressers looked like they came from a thrift store. The living room had a heater, but it was the only room and the heat didn't migrate to the other rooms. There were portable heaters, but after turning on a second one, the circuit breaker was flipped. The circuit breaker was in a locked basement, so the night in the two bedrooms were cold and dark. Maintenance did show up early the next day and even brought another blanket, so I have to give them kudos for a good response. Communication with Del Mar was very good. As far as location, the house is located on a very narrow and potholed filled street. Lastly, the house needs more supplies. The house could sleep six, but there were only three coffee mugs and four wine glasses. The place settings and glassware were mismatched - again looking like thrift shop purchases.

We had a very pleasant stay at this property. Myself and my significant other and my daughter and her significant other spent the week. My sister and her husband rented another of the properties, and my other daughter, son-in-law and 2 yr old were in a third property. We had a great time and our places were right next to each other which made for great cookouts and breakfast together (when the weather cooperated). The home was very clean, linens fresh and beds comfortable. The only suggestion I would give is to bring a power strip - there weren't a lot of outlets and we all had chargers for our phones/laptops which need to be charged.

Plenty of room for our family of four and our little dog. Best part was being able to access a quiet beach, kids loved spending the whole afternoon checking out tide pools at low tide. Kitchen well stocked.

Great location close to the bayside beach (and not too crowded at all where we accessed it). The home and yard were actually bigger than the pics made them look, and plenty of space between us and the neighbors

I stayed here with my boyfriend, our two dogs, and another couple for my birthday and it was such a perfect little getaway. The area was so peaceful, the house was cute and tidy, and the walk to the beach was only a few minutes away. Definitely recommend to anyone staying at the Cape!

This cottage was very clean upon arrival. It was only a short walk to a wonderful private beach on the bay side of the cape. Communication about access, rules, etc. from the property manager was very good. When we had a little trouble figuring out how to work the heat pump (a couple of colder nights in October) the property manager responded quickly with easy-to-understand instructions even though it was a holiday. Manuals/instructions for the heat pump and TV in the cottage would be helpful.

The only problem we had was we didn’t know how to operate some of the electronics, i.e. the heat pump and the t.v. The only manual I found for the heat pump was for another brand/ model entirely. We are older and consequently WAY out of step with t.v.’s. We stumbled through by using verbal commands, but it would have been nice to have had some guides, manuals or written instructions for operation. Otherwise we LOVED the place- especially the location near both the ocean and (private) bay beaches!

The cottage was spacious for 2 adults and our toy poodle and could've accommodated two more people comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped and the utensils were attractive. What was most magical was the location, an easy walk to the private Dune Beach. We loved our walks along the ocean, high or low tide, mornings or evening sunsets.. We visited dog-friendly Bakers Pond for swimming and took walks at the Eastham Salt Marsh Cape Cod Seashore visitors center and at the Audubon facility in Wellfleet. Just the right balance of nature and comforts.

Great fun runing the sand at low tide mornings and floating on the water at high tide. Everything clean and working order and good beds. Nice front yard for badminton. So close to the CCRT - biked without having to take a car. Definitely would go back. Not a big house which we knew) - didn't miss not having a dining table as much as I thought, but would be hard to be indoors to play games/puzzles in the rain without a table (even just a card table) for the living room.

My small family of 3 (two adults and a 4 year old) stayed here for a week and our experience was fantastic. We were comfortable and felt like everything was clean and arranged nicely. The beach is excellent for children - low tide is so fun and at high tide it's perfect swimming! Make sure you pack light for the (very short) walk though as you'll have to do a couple flights of stairs. Wasn't a problem for us - we loaded up a wagon and my husband managed to carry it down the stairs easily enough. Highly recommend!

Lived up to expectations! Kitchen was really satisfactory. Only exception was television offerings. Disappointed that we were unable to access public television stations and only had Netflix or one cable news connection. Was not a big enough deal to call property manager, but made a difference.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was perfect for me and my two teens. Good location and the walk to the neighborhood beach was nice. It was relaxing and great to enjoy the beach every day and we were lucky to have great weather. The only thing I can think of would be to provide more trash receptacles outside; it seemed we shared them with another house and as they had more guests and left the day before us they filled the trash and recycling barrels so when we left we had to overflow them a bit. Otherwise no problems and a great stay!
