About this house rental
Situated in North Eastham, this charming house for $275 per night is a great option for your next trip. You will completely enjoy your stay at this lovely old cape cod home, set back on a beautiful grassy lot on a private road in Eastham. This home has 3 bedrooms: the master bedroom has a queen sized bed, small private bath, and a sliding door to the back yard and outdoor shower. One of the alternate bedrooms also has a queen sized bed, while the other is a bunk room with twin bed (weight limit: 160lbs.) above and double bed below. The common bathroom is conveniently located off of the main hallway of the house. And if it is an outside shower that you would prefer, as stated earlier, we have that too! Your Cape Cod stay would not be complete without showering in this beautiful outdoor environment. The kitchen of this home was recently remodeled and is fully equipped with appliances and all of the service and cookware you will need for your stay. The livingroom houses a large screen television and quite a collection of movies. Also…we have Wi-Fi!! Feel free to stream movies from your personal device however, there is no CABLE TV at this rental...but, that’s not why you are here! This home is in close proximity to several beaches and the outdoor environment of this property will certainly make your stay most memorable! Although this residence has AC you will likely wish to spend the day in the outdoors! Access to the famous Cape Cod Rail Trail is within 1/4 mile and your choice of several beaches are all within a short distance as well! And, if you don't feel like leaving the property, this large yard is ideal for lounging around. There is plenty of outside seating and a wonderful hammock under the trees. The property is on a private, quiet cul-de-sac which makes it ideal for families with young children. Children will love to visit the chickens housed in a backyard coop or ride their bicycles on this quiet street and play in the yard. If you are up for entertaining, there is a gas grill and outdoor lighting. If "eating in" isn't your thing, visit any one of the many nearby restaurants! Whether you are looking for daily trips to area beaches, a trip to Provincetown, or just a place to simply relax, the "High Tide" house is truly the place for you this summer.

Beautiful home located near the rail trail. Everything we wanted was there - it is a fully stocked home. Karen is great. The chickens are adorable! The hammock was my favorite spot in the yard.

Home had everything you would need for a relaxing vacation. Location was very convenient to both the bay and ocean side with many restaurants nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed the buck a shuck oysters at Carolines for happy hour.

Our family enjoyed our stay at high tide. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything the cape has to offer. My children enjoyed the spacious front yard, quiet cul de sac and chickens.

The house and property were beautiful, so comfortable with all the amenities we needed! It was conveniently located close to the National Seashore beaches and community beaches, and since we rented bikes for the week we were able to bike to each shoreline, not to mention riding along the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Karen is an excellent host, very responsive and informative. I would this all over again in a second! Thank you Karen for sharing your home with us!!

We had a great stay at “High Tide”. The owner provided perfect communications before and during our stay. The home and property are lovely, set back from the main highway and provided a quiet respite during our breaks from beach-time. Everything we needed was available. We’d happily stay again, hopefully for longer!

Great Stay!
Karen was a wonderful and responsive host whenever we had a question. The house is adorable, clean, and was perfect for our needs. Only a few minutes’ drive from several beaches and only a half hour from Ptown. Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys available. We had a little one, so being able to relax in the AC and take a break from the heat was a life saver. My son was obsessed with the Lincoln logs!
We also had to unexpectedly leave early due to our son being sick and Karen was very flexible with allowing our in-laws to stay at the house for the remainder of the stay. Thank you Karen!

We loved the “Chicken House”!
Great house for a family with young children. We have a 1 and 3 year old and having it only be one floor with no stairs was very helpful. We had to do minimal baby proofing. The chickens were a huge hit with our 3 year old. The house has everything you need and is located near so many great beaches, beautiful trials, and cute towns. The host, Karen, was very kind and welcoming as well. Highly recommend!

Lovely cape ranch near bay
We had a fantastic time at High Tide. Amazing location and value, <5 minute drive to beautiful bay beaches and the National Seashore. The beds were incredibly comfortable, had everything we would've needed in the kitchen to cook. Karen was a very responsive host. Would absolutely stay again.

Our family loves this place! The proximity to all the local beaches and restaurants is perfect, and my kids could watch the chickens in the backyard all day. The cottage is well stocked with everything we needed, and the outdoor shower and hammock are perfect for R&R after a long beach day! Hope to be back next summer!

THIS is real Cape Cod!
This was one of the best vacations we've had in years! The property and the host are top notch. We cannot say enough and will absolutely be back. A wonderfully quiet and peaceful spot with easy access to restaurants and beaches. If you want to get away to Cape Cod. This is your spot!!

Our family of five was delighted to find this house. The house was even better than the photos! Several outstanding beaches were a short five-minute drive away, and we enjoyed the large front yard (great space for breakfast and dinners) and the small backyard farm with a dozen hens. The bathrooms were renovated nicely, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. The host was very accommodating, and even mailed us some clothes we left behind without charging us. Very generous and helpful.

Beautiful cottage in a great area!
Words can’t describe our amazing stay at the High Tide!! It was a week of much-needed rest and relaxation for myself, my husband, and our 2 young kids. There was plenty to do (and not do for our “chill at the cottage” days), for the whole family - and the outer cape was a perfect destination for social distancing with lots of open space :) ! First Encounter Beach was fantastic and only a 5 minute drive, the Wellfleet Audubon society was a beautiful hike, and we went to the Chocolate Sparrow some mornings for a breakfast treat. The kids’ adored the chickens, using the outdoor shower, learning to use a cassette player, and swinging on the hammock (the “pirate ship”). We loved that the cottage was on a cul de sac so the kids could safely play without us worrying - It was truly the perfect getaway! We look forward to returning!!

Classic cape cod rental
The house is a classic rental property on the cape. Charming and wonderfully decorated. Perfect size for 6 people. Awesome location to easily access all of the outer cape. I rated the “accuracy of online listing” a 4 out of 5 only because the pictures don’t do the house justice!

Great location, great house
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'high tide'. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, including charcoal grill and the excellent selection of books for children, (and adults). We have 3 and 4 year old girls and they had a blast reading all the books and watching the DVDs. First Encounter beach is close by and great for small children. The house is very comfortable - and the outdoor shower is great. will definitely put 'high tide' on top of our list for future trips to the outer cape.

Lovely and comfortable home in Eastham
We’re happy we booked this home. It’s a very charming home. The kitchen had everything needed if you want to cook. Beds were comfortable. Sitting outside was peaceful and comfortable and there is a hammock to relax on. The owner of this property clearly takes pride in this property. The location is excellent- close to great beaches and a quick drive to Provincetown. We would definitely stay here again.
