An oasis away from bustling Cliff Beach

This homestay was the best we've stayed in on this trip and others to India. The rooms and house are pristine with great facilities and in a very quiet location but within easy reach of Cliff Beach. We were extended a warm welcome great service and a tasty South Indian freshly prepared breakfast. The owner booked a tuk tuk to take us to a local store and a taxi for our onward journey. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantástico!!!!!

Todo fue absolutamente fantástico!. La ubicación es perfecta, pues se encuentra a unos pasos del acantilado, habitación amplia y confortable. Pero lo mejor es su personal. Maravillosa atención y simpatía, y una comida absolutamente deliciosa, además en un ambiente muy saludable. Cuando volvamos a esta zona, no dudaremos en alojarnos de nuevo aquí!...muchas gracias!!!

A peaceful sanctuary in the middle of Varkala

We loved our stay in Nirrvaan! Impeccably clean room, really comfortable and big bed. Modern bathroom with a great shower. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Delicious food and tea. The location is superb, within walking distance of everything Varkala has to offer. Very cozy, spacious and beautifully decorated room. Very peaceful and serene vibe in the house. Quiet at night. This is the best place we stayed in during our whole trip all around Kerala. We will definitely come back again.

Fabulous home stay in a quiet location

Wonderful home stay. Very clean, spacious room with comfy large bed and lots of hot water in the shower. Slept so well. Very quiet in her home and surrounding area. Hostess is lovely and prides herself on everything you need. Excellent freshly made India breakfast and each day we were given different dishes. Would definitely stay again. Fining the property is easy face the Sanjays Hotel and to the left is an alley/path with black and red floor tiles … just follow it down and you will see the signs … very safe

A wonderful place to start in Varkala

We ended up staying a few days longer than plan largely due to this wonderful properly,incredible location and the amazing host. Rekha made you feel so comfortable in her home and was also was an amazing cook! The breakfast table was a lovely place to chat to other people staying and was very much a part of the friendly charm of the place. Literally a minute from 2 main walkways down to the beach, the start of all the restaurants and close to a great little shop which sells all the essentials, fruit and snacks. Rooms are all super clean, decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We Recommend really highly!

Absolute must stay

Loved absolutely everything about this property. Really lovely place with lovely staff. Each morning we would be treated to an amazing breakfast and chat with fellow guests. Had a really nice, warm, homely feel to the place and the location is perfect. Upstairs you have a covered terrace with exercise mats, fridge for guests and so on, and guests can use the kitchen as they please

Nirvaan at Varkala a Home away from Home.

Our interactions with Rekha, was very informal and cordial, felt at home and the hospitality was excellent. Overall a wonderful and cherished stay.

Perfect homestay!

Room: Clean as a whistle, pretty corners, nice balcony, picturesque room, tidy bathroom. Location: Varkala cliff and beach are at a walkable distance. Food: Lip smacking Kerala breakfast, haven't had better puttu and kadala curry in my life, same goes for idiyappam and veg curry. Couldn't have lunch and dinner as we were late in requesting for the same. Utilities: Common lounge area, kitchen and fridge for use upstairs. Host: A very kind and helpful lady who helped us with auto and taxi guy numbers and with things around to visit.

Nice Homestay in Varkala

Location is close to North Cliff and you can walk through to both Varkala beach and Black Sand beach. Rooms are clean and they offered early check in as well.

It's a homestay and you shouldn't expect all the amenities. However no hot water being provided and breakfast was available with one limited dish.

Location, Positive vibe.

Staff was just faking with smile. Cold water was asked but she just refused with smile that she is having RO water only.Breakfast was complimentry and My wife was having fast so she asked for only milk with little tea in it. Informed to the staff but it contains 30% milk only rest water. When asked her about the same she escaped with a smile.

Great ambience

I liked the whole vibe of the stay. We stayed in the comrade room. Loved the lighting and the ambience of the room. The host is very accommodating. We needed to extend our stay for a few hours, and she was kind enough to allow us to stay for no extra cost.

Breakfast could've been better. Tea was close to flavoured hot water. Can definitely improve there.

Superb

We had a good time at Nirrvaan homestay. Felt very quite, i highly recommended for family or solo travelers or who enjoy vacation noiseless. 200meter walks to cliff, currently there is no parking, but I was told they are arranging space soon. Good breakfast and near and comfy rooms.

Homely, clean rooms with warm welcoming hosts. It was my first homestay experience and it was awesome to say the least. The location is very close to the cliff which was my primary attraction for Varkala and hence it was ideal for my stay. For breakfast we were served appam and curry which were delicious, topped off by the fresh tea that was served later. Also, the rooms were organised and had a lot of unique chandeliers, artefacts and paintings, which truly added to our wonderful experience. I would absolutely recommend this place for Varkala stay.

accessibility is a bit difficult if you have four wheeler.

Location : Very near to Varkala Beach & Cliff. Rooms : Very Spacious & bathroom was neat and clean.

This homestay is perfectly suitable for Family. Mr. Preethesh was very kind & he made us very comfortable. We had Aaapam & Potato gravy for breakfast both were excellent. A complete homemade dishes, rooms were really spacious. I personally very much attracted to the maintenance of their homestay. Thanks for hosting us & looking forward to visit again in the near future.

TV dish services wasn't available. Little bit disappointed since it was IPL finals day,

Owner ( Rekha ) went out of her way to help us - from booking tours, medical supplies, railway tickets , etc. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Very clean , comfortable and modern. Great location close to cliff top and good range of restaurants. Great value - Strongly recommended.

Home made Indian breakfast very good - more limited If you like western / continental breakfast !

I shed a tear to say goodbye to owners, felt like home.

The room was very clean, better than a hotel I stayed in, and great size. Airconditioning, Wifi with strong connection. Beds comfy, nice clean sheets, Bathroom very clean and modern. A lot of love has been put into presentation of home with artifacts and decore, very comfortable and welcoming. HOME COOKING SENSATIONAL, ABOVE AND BEYOND TRULY all cooked by the lovely elderly lady who should be a chef, lol! Seriously, best homestay from my experience.
