It is located around the old town
You have to pay and use coins to use the shower. The shower doesn’t even have hot water. You have to turn on a gas device to have hot water for around 10 seconds.

Perfect location in centre of the city. All that you need is available at the hostel.
No bars/pubs open nearby. Restaurants close very early.

In the end of May, 2025-the unexpected cold early summer days-I had a warm stay because of the reception of the host: a hospitable and humorous local man. Maybe because of my thin shape, the host especially worried about me (it is said that I was the first Taiwanese guest) and offered me with thick quilt and hot water bottle-eventually even let me “upgrade” from the big dorm room to the smaller studio room.
Although it’s not easy to maintain such an old architecture in town, I saw some renovations in progress: there should be expectable better accommodation experience in the near future.
