Fantastic location, house as described- very clean, warm and had everything we needed including plenty of crockery etc for dishwasher, plus washing machine. Able to store bikes in courtyard at the back and do cycles and walks from the flat which was great. Maps and walk books also really useful . Lovely views over the bay and 5-10 mins max walk to shops etc.
Wifi wasn’t great and couldn’t get the TV to connect to anything other than standard TV but we just used a laptop so not a major issue

Spotlessly clean. View from lounge window is fab. Location is good, 5-10 mins from EVERYTHING. Master bed as comfortable as I have ever experienced.
Decor is very dated, as is the tv. Roku will not connect to the network (I'm in IT!). Courtyard space claustrophobic and would really benefit from a jet wash and some colour. Only being able to open front windows a few inches was a pain, prevented us from getting any substantial airflow. 5pm check in and 10am check out steals a fair chunk of a day also.

Once we had made the beds and bought towels, we were able to relax and begin enjoying our stay. The apartment is situated above town and a short and pleasant walk away. The kitchen is well appointed.
Our overall impression is that the accomodation is spacious and the level of comfort fair, if very dated.
We arrived to find the beds unmade. There were no towels on any. We managed to find some linen in a drawer of the main bedroom, but the sheets did not fit the beds. Searching further, we found just one towel in, a drawer of the second bedroom. The letting office could only be contacted in an emergency; we had arrived on a Sunday. We went and bought ourselves three bath towels at Sainsburys, which were fortunately still open. Matters were not resolved the following day as it was a Monday Bank Holiday. When finally we did get to speak with a representative, We were told that there had been a miss communication with the property owners. We felt thoroughly unimpressed! The place had also not been recently cleaned, as evidenced by a layer of dust on surfaces.
