This was a beautiful and well-equipped condo. We had a few minor issues, but the 24/7 customer support hotline was instantly responsive and helped with all our needs. Would definitely recommend.

This house is clean and in a pretty okay location (although there is a busy train track right out the front door). However, I can't say that I loved it like I have other properties in the area because it just needs a lot of attention.
Railings are loose. There are quite a few wasp nests outside so we couldn't leave screens open. The alarm unit on the wall falls off at the touch because it isn't hung properly. The hot tub doesn't heat well or hold heat and needs a good deep clean. There are rogue cords EVERYWHERE. There aren't even mattress pads on all the beds. All of these things were annoying but we could look past.
What bothered me the most is that I stay in multiple short term rentals all over the country every year. I am used to places that go above and beyond. Who believe in the "suprise and delight" type of customer service. And in this house, that doesn't exist. There are no "extras" in the house. It is truly bare bones. No fans for warm summer days. No throw blankets for chilly evenings. There are ZERO dressers or drawers to put your clothes away in. No extras of anything. It just felt like such a bare bones stay.
I really wanted to love this place more than I did. We had a good trip but I just can't give this place as high a rating as I normally would because it was just okay.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean, had modern appliances and comfortable furniture. This was a ski trip so the heated garage and having our own hot tub was awesome. Really liked the wooded location and being minutes from town. Can't wait to return!

Our stay here was so good, the condo had everything we needed to be comfortable and the location close to town is great. It was very clean and neat upon our arrival. We would stay there again.

Unfortunately this rental was not nearly as clean as one would hope. Dirty dishes filled the cabinets and the dishwasher needed to be unloaded, we also had a pile of damp towels waiting for us in the washing machine. Carpet was filthy and almost every surface had dust, dirt, or crumbs on it. There was no way the floor was vacuumed between guests, or possibly ever, as we even found an entire fortune cookie in the carpet. Felt gross touching anything and we were all constantly washing our hands after doing something as simple as closing the blinds. Worst part was the mold/mildew on the lower level shower curtain. No wonder we were all having terrible allergies during our stay. Would not recommend as the place is clearly poorly cleaned and managed.

I wouldn’t have brought my own if I had known but appreciate that it was there.

The good:

Several light switches did not work, several light bulbs were burned out, several locations (1st level bedroom and above the fireplace in the family room) had wires sticking out of the wall connecting to nothing, there were crumbs in several of the drawers in the kitchen, there were jelly beans on the carpet under the coffee table, the fireplace brick had fallen off in several places and was missing grout/caulking almost everywhere, several of the remotes for the TVs did not work or were missing batteries entirely (we had to buy some), many commonly provided items were missing (extra trash bags, dryer sheets, cleaner for the countertop in the kitchen - we had to go buy some for our stay).
The stay in Winter Park/Fraser was nice but the nuisances of dealing with missing necessities or non-operable items made this stay less than great for us. Once these items are addressed/updated the property would be great!

Overall we had a nice stay. There were a few maintenance items I'd seen in previous reviews that hadn't been fixed unfortunately (carpet tacks exposed in two rooms, cloudy hot tub--we added chemicals from the garage and it cleared up but had to do on our own). There was also chipped glasses in the kitchen that need replacing.
The place and location were still enjoyable even those those details could have made it better.

Quiet getaway
The location was perfect just up the road from the Main Street, with a nice set up inside. The heated garage came in handy when driving in during 24 degree weather. The hot tub was relaxing. Overall great experience.

Loved it!
Beautiful, clean, AND functional. I am an “unpacker”, so I liked that there were lots of places to put things (drawers, shelves, closets, hooks, cabinets, etc). My kids and I agreed that the beds were all comfortable. I could easily figure out how to use the TV. I really liked the kitchen because I felt like it had everything I needed. Sometimes when you’re not in your own kitchen you feel like you don’t have the right knife for what you’re cutting or the size pan for what you’re making. There was a little path we found that we could walk to town. There are nearby parks that are nice for kids and adults (we stayed there in early fall). Great location. I felt right at home. I would definitely stay here again.
