Libertas offers a unique lifestyle experience in the heart of Lucca's centro storico. Libertas is an elegant and luxurious apartment for four in Palazzo Arnolfini, a fully renovated national trust monument located in a quiet area of Lucca’s historical city center. A rare find with a private underground garage (inquire about requisites for a permit,) the apartment is located on a tree-lined street inside Lucca's Centro Storico city walls, just yards from the passeggiata around Le Mura. Walking distance to all of the city's services and attractions, the bright and airy apartment has 4 exposures over leafy streets and the palazzo’s courtyard garden. Measuring a generous 140 sq m, Libertas is furnished throughout with contemporary Italian and vintage modern pieces and original artwork by Olivo Barbieri and Not Vital. The floor plan sees a large living, office, dining and kitchen area, an en suite master bedroom and a twin bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. The apartment has the use of a parking space in the palazzo’s private underground garage and car permits can be arranged free if you or anyone in your party has a handicapped permit, for a fee otherwise. The bus and train stations are just a short walk away. Fully restored to a high standard with custom terrazzo floors and marble-fitted bathrooms, the apartment has central heating and the bedrooms are air conditioned. High speed optical fibre Wi-Fi is free and there’s a Smart TV for streaming. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and oven, a dishwasher, an electric kettle, a toaster oven, a microwave, cookware, tableware and household utensils. Bed linens and towels are also included and there is a washer/dryer. an iron and ironing board and a hair-dryer. Well-appointed for long-term stays, 2 hours cleaning and a change of sheets and towels are included for stays over ten days. A baby cot can be arranged on request.

We had a great stay and everything was absolutely perfect.
