Wonderful accomodation - would love to come back!

Fantastic accomodation in every respect. The rooms are so nice, modern and clean, with a thoughtful layout catering to anything you could need. The saltwater pool is so lovely and great for dip at any time of the day. The spa treatments were great too, and Elaine was so helpful and friendly on front desk. Would strongly recommend staying here!

Nothing at all, but guests should be aware this is not a good spot for lagoon swimming immediately in front of the accomodation - great sea views though!

A beautifully designed & presented resort in a quiet, peaceful location

A beautifully designed & presented resort in a quiet, peaceful location. The pool area is superb & the villa we stayed in was spotlessly clean, comfortable, & well equipped. The owners seem to have thought of everything guests would need for an enjoyable stay. A great feature was the automatic soft blue night lighting in the villas which illuminated the stairs & bathroom. Easy on the eyes & no worries about falling over in the dark. The owners & staff were friendly & helpful. Plenty of food provided for breakfast, staff were happy to adjust if you needed a bit more of this & less of that. Completion of the on site Tapas bar & restaurant will be a welcome addition. The beach is not suitable for swimming, but the benefit of this was having the sandy foreshore & outdoor seating area pretty much to ourselves most of the time. Muri is just down the road if you want to swim in the sea & enjoy the company of others.

Beautifully build but lack of facilities and distance to other places means it’s not one I would visit again.

Beautiful layout and well-designed private units. Ladies in spa were lovely, and spa was good experience.

Unfinished - no bar, no food on site. Too far to walk to a beach to snorkel/swim, and no other resorts/restaurants nearby apart from supermarket and burger joint so had to drive/taxi or bus for coffee (only coffee place closes 10am in the morning), lunches or dinner. I found the location quite limiting in this respect. Breakfast basket was OK, but limited. Previous times I’ve enjoyed this option, they were delivered fresh, daily and included pastries, etc. This basket was topped up every 3 days, and that was it, although reception was happy to provide more on request.

It was a very enjoyable experience, Elaine, Barry and Jade were all very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast and snack options were very generous. We loved the friendliness and attention to detail of the staff. We will definitely recommend and visit again.

Barry, Jade and Elaine were perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome and looked after.

Lovely eggs and snacks left for us for breakfast. The room was fantastic and the pool beautiful. Convenience store just across the road and the best burgers on the island right next to that. Happy days.

Really don't believe it could have been better. Internet was a bit dodgy, but obviously not the owners fault.

Breath-taking and just amazing!

By far one of the most beautiful places i have ever been! It is just so beautiful. The staff is incredible friendly and helps you with every need you have. They just make you smile every day! They even made a cute little elephant out of towels. They offer breakfast which is refilled every 3rd day. But is absolutly no problem to ask for more fruits or cheese or whatever you ran out of. They will by it for you straight away! The booking includes 2.5 gb of internet and you can buy more gigs if you need. There are special offers on some days where you get 20 gb for 15$. The rooms are also breath-taking and very clean and modern. The beds are huge and very comfortable. On top of that the pool is incredible beautiful as contains salt water. The view to the ocean is breath-taking! And it even has a swing with that amazing view! We would definitly stay here again! We loved it! Thank you so much again! A tapas restaurant will open soon which will make the stay even more great!

The only thing that is not the best is, that you can't swim in the ocean right infront of the resort. But there is a beautiful beach only half an hour walk away or by bus it is only 5 minutes. On top of that most of the time you are able to see some whales just infront of the resort, which you probably can't see that close at one of the hotels that offer a beach where you can swim in the ocean too. And the beach here is still so beautiful.

Amazing staff, beautiful and modern resort. Highly recommend.

Staff were incredible, very friendly and helpful to all needs. Located across the road from a great burger shop. Salt water pool was beautiful, rooms very modern and clean. Highly recommend getting a massage at the resort spa, it was amazing. Thanks for having us!

Helpful staff, and easy place to relax in with a good shop for all supplies with in walking distance.

Looks exactly like the advertised photos. A new property with everything you need and more. Great shared entertainment areas and the pool is fabulous.

great place to wind down or start your trip around the islands.

property and facilities were great. close to convenience store and takeaway across the road. Staff were very accommodating especially Elaine (thanks). Rooms were immaculate and well built with great finishes. I love the loft style rooms. looking forward to when the tapas bar gets built in a few months.

the beach out front isn’t really great for swimming but the pool is great. I’m not sure if they had them but maybe they could hire out e-bikes and scooters to get around easier. a pool bar would also be good. these are more nice to haves rather than anything I didn’t like.

Stunning resort and rooms, equipped with everything you could possibly need. Pool and beach area was cute and relaxing. Great location, close to Muri.

Slice of paradise in paradise

This is by far one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. The staff are all so lovely, the views amazing, pool is natural ocean water, accommodation is top class. The spa treatments are heavenly. Would definitely recommend staying here. Photos don’t do it justice.

Lovely new villas, pristine presentation, excellent hosts and short drive to Muri Lagoon

Pristine presentation and excellent welcome pack provided on arrival. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Lots of great information on the resort and things to do in Rarotonga provided in the compendium.

Not really somewhere you can laze on the beach, you can't swim at the location of the villas as the sea is too dangerous and was very windy during our stay at the front of the property. Having said that there is a lovely pool area, very picturesque.

New, well thought out internal layout with all the mod-cons ie dishwasher, access to laundry facilities, air-con, fan, fridge AND freezer storage. Lovely resort layout with easy access to beach, own salt-water pool, chairs, bbq, shade or sun as desired. Super-nice & helpful staff who, without hesitation, did the little extras that meant so much eg personal contact w rental car agency meant we got the LAST car available on the day🙏; accommodated our request for eggs/bread instead of cereal. And although I know it was built into the price, arriving to a fridge stocked with lots of essential & treat goodies was a real nice touch👍. Enjoyed the location away from the bustle of Muri & Avarua & waking to the rising sun

Not so much a “didn’t like” but also missed watching the setting Sun from our accommodation! i know you can’t hv both, so we dined out on western locations!! Also not a “didnt like” but it will def add a vibe & connectedness to Oceans when the tapas bar & beach bar get staffed & running. Would hv been a great place to interact with our fellow residents some more!

Blissful, the perfect couples retreat.

I don’t think I can rate this property highly enough. From the beginning of our stay being shown to our villa with a sea view to check out everything was perfect. Every single staff member was kind and helpful, the room was spotless and even after checkout when we were invited to use the pool we felt welcome and in no rush to leave. Eagerly anticipating the open of the Tapas bar. We will be back.

I honestly can’t think of anything I didn’t like about my stay and villa.

Perfect in every way.

From booking right through to leaving the service and communication was amazing. All the little things are taken care of seamlessly. The setup allows you to mingle with other guests or remain private depending on your preference. The massages were equally amazing. This resort would be a perfect place for a wedding, honeymoon or just to absolutey relax. Can't wait to return when the tapa bar and restaurant open.

Second to none!

Great facility and service all the way through. We are poor planners for the trip and rushed to the Ocean Escape, the owners/hosts and staff helped us had everything arranged to perfection. Really appreciate the time and effort they had spent on us, and truly we are feeling valued and respected more than guests to a hotel. Also very much impressed by the design and facilities of the resort (rooms), in which we found the owners paid attention to every detail from a customer perspective. We really enjoyed our stay in Ocean Escape and will definitely recommend to everyone visiting Rarotonga.

Relaxing, comfortable stay in a quiet, beautifully maintained resort with great service.

There's so much to love about this resort. It's beautiful, right on the beach, with great service from the owners. The villas are really comfortable - we loved the home from home feel. Great options to keep you cool with air con, fans and mosquito nets over the windows so you can have the sea breeze coming through at night without worries about getting bitten! Lower ratings are only because it had just opened and the eating options weren't ready yet. The owners plans to have more facilities in the coming months will make it even better.

A bit of a walk into Muri - so would recommend car hire. Only other things we've mentioned above - just needs more facilities - which will happen soon!

Paradise 🏝

We loved everything about this property. Location- beachfront, across from petrol station & Vilis burger joint (yum!), close to town aswell as Muri Lagoon. The property is modern, clean, quiet, and has everything you need! I loved being woken by the sound of waves, walking few steps to the beach and having my morning coffee. The villas have everything you need & the day bed outside was so relaxing I’d often fall asleep 😴 the pool area is spectacular.. an extension from the beach. The owners and workers are so lovely and made us feel at home. If you’re like me- who likes nice things, then you’d love this place! I would highly recommend and will definitely be back again!
