The drive-on beach is just a couple blocks away, a 2 minute drive from your door, the ultimate day in the sand and sun is just a stone's throw away! This 2017 build home features a welcoming open concept living room and state-of-the-art kitchen. A lofty balcony is elevated to maximize water and Galveston views. A cargo lift is available to help with carrying the gear to the 2nd floor. The ground floor patio is shaded and boasts a tiki bar, picnic table, grills (gas and charcoal) outdoor rinse-off shower, and is perfect for gathering with family and friends. Want more friends and family to join you? Check out The Pelican's Perch, just two doors down (Sleeps 12+, pets w restrictions) or Yeatha's Oasis is kitty-corner (Sleeps 8, no pets). ABOUT THIS HOUSE The open-plan living area with beach style decor is a perfect spot to relax with family and friends. A leather L-shaped sofa and five chairs offer plenty of seating for eight. Screen your favorite films on the 55" Smart TV or grab a board game from the home's library for a night of friendly competition. A rotating library of books is also available to read, as you rest and recharge. Feel free to take one and leave one! Soak up the Crystal Beach sunshine on the elevated balcony with several glimpses of the gulf, with seating for eight and sweeping views of the seaside Bolivar Peninsula neighborhood, and gaze nightly at the city lights of Galveston. Hosting a barbecue is a breeze on the shaded ground-floor patio, where both a gas/charcoal combo grill and a Weber charcoal grill await. Mix the perfect cocktail at the tiki bar and dine at the built-in picnic table. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and every gadget you can imagine...from griddles to crock pots and more, to aide in preparing dinner for your group. Enjoy a casual meal at the dining table for six or take your meal out to the covered deck, where you can find additional seating for eight. In the large master suite, you will find a king bed, Smart TV, dresser, desk w chair, closet, and en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The spacious second bedroom includes a queen bed, Smart TV, dresser and closet with ample storage. In the closet you will find additional equipment for the little's: a pack-n-play, inflatable toddler bed and a booster highchair. Kids will rush to claim their bunk in the third bedroom, with two twin-over-full bunks. Decorated in fun colorful patterns, this is the perfect cheery spot for sleepovers or streaming late-night movies on the Smart TV. An additional Q-size mattress is located in the closet. An additional full bath is convenient to the second and third bedrooms. Keep your beach towels fresh with a stack washer/dryer tucked into the dedicated laundry space. You can park up to 3 vehicles in the driveway and complimentary Wi-Fi is provided. There is no cable at this property, so bring your personal codes for Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, so you can enjoy streaming your favorite shows. THE LOCATION Bustling Crystal Beach offers 7 miles of gorgeous waterfront and is home to the famous Texas Crab Festival and Topless Jeep Weekend. Plan your visit for May to catch these celebrations of sun, sand, and the state's best crabbing. With gulf beaches just 5-10 minutes by foot from your door, you can spend days splashing in the waves and evenings relaxing on your balcony. Very clean furniture is very nice neighborhood is very quiet. House is very stocked if you happen to forget anything. Checkin and checkout is painless and the owners are as nice as can be. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet the deck is perfect for watching sun rise and set. Can’t say enough thank you so much for having us.

This place is a gem! The MOST comfortable beds, hands down!! The BEST kitchen setup of any rental home. Easy access to the beach with donuts, groceries, restaurants, and souvenirs close by.
We had so much fun to watch the "parade" of golf carts heading to/from the beach from the upper deck. And the most amazing sunrises! A birdwatchers heaven sipping coffee from the upper deck at sunrise. (And if you don't claim to be a birdwatcher, dont be surprised if you become one once you see them up close in flight.)
We had a small hiccup during our stay, and the host was super quick to respond with with a solution.

This is the MOST stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in! They literally had everything you could need. All the spices, foil, bags, beach toys and even sunscreen!! The book of things to do in the area was very helpful. The host was extremely responsive and the place was very clean and easy to find. We would love to stay here again!!

Just a quick golf cart trip to the beach. The house was very nice and felt like home! I definitely recommend paying for the cargo lift it was a huge benefit! The master bedroom surprisingly had a comfortable bed! Our friends that rented down the street were complaining their beds were hard and squeaking! We were surely thankful that wasn’t us! Only downside is the property contact is incorrect- the gentleman it tells you to reach out to politely called me to tell me he is wrongfully listed and gets several calls a month. Hopefully VRBO can fix that for future renters and the poor guy getting calls!

This beach home was perfect. We had 2 families of 4, and we all had the perfect space to sleep. This Beach home was clean and well equipped with items we needed to cook store food clean up afterwards. The owner was so awesome answering any questions I may have had. Definitely 5 star treatment!

The house was well equipped with everthing promised. Lots of kitchen spices, and gadgets, beach toys, pack N play, washer, dryer, and toiletries, sunblock, etc. Cold AC!
It is beautifully decorated and fit all of us beautifully. Mave was very responsive to our questions. Our only concern was the abundance of mosquitos (probably because of the water that runs along side the house). It was impossible to try and enjoy the bbq/grill or play downstairs games. Nothing the owners can control, but do consider if you have children. An adult could use lots of bug spray that was also provided. After sleeping on the bunk beds, I would consider the mattresses more for children. They are real soft and sink to the baseboards. The house is close enough to load up and be at the beach in a couple minutes. The beach area was peaceful and clean. The street the house is on was quiet and not much traffic. We had a great time and will definately be back. It's a beautiful home with kind attentive owners.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and with in walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed playing some of the family games that were at the house. We had trouble unlocking the the front door at check in but the owner responded really quickly and helped us figure it out.

Beach Fun
The house was super nice. It had all the amenities listed & more. We has 2 adults & 6 teenagers & we all slept comfortably. The soap, shampoo & conditioner in both showers was so convenient. The location was great only minutes from the house. We rented golf carts from JuJu Vibes for the day which was right around the corner from the house. Everyone had so much fun. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much. One of the best vacations we've had.

Family vacation rental
We absolutely love this home rental near the beach. The house was just a few blocks from the beach and a short ride on a golf cart rental. The house was very homey and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed from kitchen essentials to board games. The downstairs outdoor area includes a grill, picnic area, and outside shower. If you’re looking for a family friendly place to stay, I would highly recommend this home.

This house is so cozy, clean, and comfortable!!! So many personal touches. We drove our 4WD truck to the beach everyday. The beach easement is on the same street about a half mile away. If you forget something it is a quick trip to get it.We will definitely be booking this rental again.
