Nestled in Sandusky, this attractive house for $500 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Bay-front location. This large single-family house is located on a small lane off Cedar Point Road and is just three miles down the road from Cedar Point Amusement Park and two miles from Sports Force. This home has a private yard with bay frontage for enjoying sunbathing, fishing, and viewing the beautiful sunsets. The home features a large great room, four/five bedrooms, and three baths. The kitchen has two work areas--each with a sink, disposal, and dishwasher—make large group entertaining easy. The large deck with a natural gas barbecue directly off the great room, with access through sliding doors from both the kitchen and living area, makes outdoor dining a pleasure. A full bath is easily accessible from both rooms. The upstairs primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, a private bath with shower, and a walk-in closet. Off the master is a small bedroom perfect for a young child with a twin bed and a crib. This room is a large walk-in closet. Also on the second floor is a kids’ suite with one queen bed and three twin beds and a private full bath. One of the main-level bedrooms has a king-sized bed while the other features a king bed as well. The main floor full bath is easily accessible from both rooms. The laundry room, with washer and dryer, is on the main floor. With easy access to Cedar Point and the Lake Erie Islands and many other local attractions, this is a great house from which to enjoy your summer vacation! If you are looking for housing for a large group, this is one of four properties that I have on the Cedar Point peninsula. Two of the others are just a couple doors away from this house.

We were traveling for business to Sandusky to a senior living community and have found that Vrbo rentals are more affordable and more comfortable for our team. We originally booked a 3 bedroom house but the day of check in the owner contacted us about damage done by previous renters and gave us an upgrade to a larger house at no additional cost. This was perfect!

We didn't spend a lot of time staying in the house, but it was absolutely beautiful with a wonderful view. I'm sure in summer it's even better! We had great communication with Doug. We are definitely keeping this in mind for our youth retreat next year if we don't have too many students!

Grew up driving the Chausee to Cedar Point and wanted to spend my Birthday weekend showing my friends my favorite park. This house was a perfect getaway, quiet and clean, and central to everything we wanted to do.

Great place to stay for the 4th. Views of neighboring communities firework displays from the back patio. There is no beach access but we knew that going in. Kids fished the bay from the breakwall in back. Ample room for the 9 of us.

Perfect for our family of 11. Upstairs worked great…family suite room was ideal for my daughter/son n law and 3 granddaughter. The other room was great for son & daughter in law with small room off theirs for their 5 year old. Each had their own bathroom. Downstairs both bedrooms had king beds which was great for my 6’3” teenage grandson in his own room and then my husband and I had a room with view of lake and sliding doors onto patio. We shared the bathroom. Nice size living room/dining room for everyone to actually sit down and eat. Kitchen fully stocked with all you need just like home…actually better than home with two sinks and 2 dishwashers😊. Utility room with washer and dryer was a blessing when we caught in a down pour! I wish I could afford to come every year but hope to return

As avid visitors to Cedar Point, this property was perfect for a family gathering. It afforded easy access to the park as well as to Sandusky's ammenities. We were minutes from local shopping, dining and entertainment for those who don't come into the park. Being right on the water, the sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. The property itself is well-maintained and slept everyone comfortably. The three bathrooms were more than adequate to accommodate everyone's needs. There was a little juggling required to move cars around as parking is tight, but it didn't hamper the weekend at all. All-in-all everyone had a fabulous weekend and that was certainly in-part to where we were able to stay.

Lovely home with spacious bedrooms, huge common rooms and great views of Sandusky Bay. The master, upstairs, has plenty of room for clothing and a nursery with a crib for baby or small bed for toddler. The other top floor bedroom also has an ensuite 3 single beds and 1 queen. Both bedrooms have TV. One main floor bedroom overlooks the bay with a huge desk. The other bedroom is large with tons of closet space. No en-suite but a shared common bathroom. There were 4 of us with plenty of space to move around. Can easily fit another 3 adult couples or 2 couples and 4-5 school-aged kids sharing a room. It is March so there are not too many sunny mornings but we had one sunrise that was stunning to watch while we drink our morning coffee. If there is an emergency, help is literally right next door. Overall this was a great rental experience,. The only caution is the floor lists toward the bay and if you have someone with balance sensitivity, it may be better to chose a different property that Doug offers. I am sure they will be just as lovely. We did not need to communicate with Doug as his written instructions were very clear and check-in was easy.

6 lifelong friends got the opportunity to hang out for the weekend, play a ton of unevenly matched board games, read some books, ramp up our cooking skills, and lean away from everyday life. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely rent this again. I’m inclined to say that my review is slanted, though. Spending time with these people would make any place amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay. It is January so we didn’t go out much but loved watching the geese and swans on the bay. The house was toasty warm and the kitchen was easy to work in and well stocked. Our only complaint is the listing says the house has a fireplace so we asked the owner if we could use it. The response was yes but we would need to bring our own, which we did. Only to find out when we got there that it is a gas fireplace in the house (that did not work) and there was a fire pit out back. It was very cold out so we weren’t going to make a fire in the fire pit. So then we had to haul all the wood back home. It was not a big deal but a little disappointing. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

We rented the house as a central location for a family Christmas vacation. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and there were sub zero temperatures, dangerous wind chills and blizzard conditions. The owner offered a day early check in for a nomial fee, which allowed us to beat the storm and still all get together. The house stayed warm and the bay side veiws were wonderful. (I saw Tundra Swans and a family of Bald Eagles almost everyday!!) When there was a problem with the pipes freezing (not suprising with -30 wind chills) someone came out imeadiatly to fix the problem! The owner was easy to reach and kind and helpful. I would definatly recomend this house for a family gathering any time of year.

This property was a perfect place for our families to meet for Thanksgiving. Doug let us check in early since we arrived earlier than expected. The house was clean and had more than enough room to accommodate 12 adults and had a large kitchen that we used to cook and prepare our feast. Doug's parents live next door and they warmly welcomed us and answered any questions we had...and even came to the rescue when one of our cars needed a jump. We spent most of the days & nights outside in the backyard by the water next to the firepit which was exactly the relaxing getaway we needed. We definitely will be going back!
