About this house rental
This lake front cottage is on the shore of Lake Erie with a private neighborhood park and beach as its front yard. It sits just minutes away from Cedar Point, Sports Force, Kalahari, and the downtown ferry to the Lake Erie islands.
This two story home includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (2 queens and 1 full size bed), with an additional non-private loft area with a full size futon. Enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Erie while sipping your favorite beverage on the front patio or from the comfort of inside looking through the large picture window.
This home includes the following amenities: stocked kitchen with cookware and dishes (just bring the food!), coffee maker, tubes for the lake, outside patio, washer & dryer, wi-fi, and the neighborhood association small private beach, pier, playground, picnic tables and grills, and basketball court.
Pets are welcome and there is a small patch of grass in the back of the house for relieving purposes! Parking is available for up to 3 cars (please contact for more info).
The neighborhood sits right off the exit from Rt 2 and within half a mile of the house is a gas station, 2 small local places to eat, a handful of fast food options, and a saloon. The main strip in Sandusky with all the main shopping is one exit down not even 10 minutes away.

I met up with my two sisters and a niece, and we had a lovely time in this house. The kitchen is well appointed and we did quite a lot of cooking (and eating). The bathrooms are great, plenty of hot water.We were working on a family history project for which the big dining room table was perfect. We enjoyed the views, used some heating and some cooling (the weather was quite variable), and took walks around the neighborhood. We also went up to the Marblehead Lighthouse that has coffee, bathrooms, views, picnic tables - and a lighthouse, so my sisters painted, I did some sewing, and the niece and her friend went rock hopping.Thank you for a great time!

The only negative I have to say is the parking situation is very very small and tight. Just wish it was better known from the beginning as none of the photos show it. We had 4 vehicles, none of which would completely fit in the small 1-car garage. We made it work, but if you have 5 cars for this place you'll need to bribe a neighbor as there's NO street parking anywhere.
