Open floor plan for the living room and kitchen. Living room opens to the deck with sliding glass doors, wood floors, flat screen TV w/ cable, Wi-Fi, queen size air bed. If you have a truck and want to know if it will fit in the garage the answer is yes! But diagonally. 2015 silverado quad cab no lift. I was worried about parking on the street which was full but it was a great plus for the truck to be in the garage. This house is perfectly located just off the beach and within a block or two of all the hot spots. If you stay in this house there is no need to drive anywhere during your stay because everything is in such short walking distance. The house was nice and clean when we arrived and had no issues during the entire stay.The vacation rental staff are all very friendly and I'm sure would've helped with any issues. Overall great house and weekend experience.

Couple of things to consider.
Do you need quiet am's? Close the windows. This was a huge issue for my husband. Because of the beach access there is a lot.of noise from the early surfers, walkers talking right under our window, trash pick up.
Second bedroom gets warm at night. Bring a fan if you run warm.
Again, loved the location. Loved having a garage. No need to drive to a store.
We would stay again.

We arrived on Saturday and that night the 2nd bathroom’s tub/shower faucet was broken. I called the office and they got back to me Sunday morning saying they would try to get someone to repair it but since it was Sunday no one was available. So another night of all 5 of us having to use one shower. The property management were very apologetic and had a plumber there Monday morning. The location was perfect being a block from downtown and the beach was half a block to the beach. We could see the ocean and pier. It wasn’t noisy even though it’s right on the street. If you’re short bring a step stool for the tall kitchen cabinets. The kitchen is small but well stocked. There’s only a counter with barstools but it worked okay for the 5 of us. The beds we’re comfortable. Having a two car garage was a bonus since parking near the beach and downtown was so convenient. This unit is upstairs which gives you the great view.

If I make this review to good, everyone will want to stay here and I won't be able to reserve it. OK, truth is, its a great location and very nice inside. The rental company was great to work with. This was our first time using Coastal Vacation rental. I have seen them around Pismo before and decided to try them out. Great to work with. There is probably no other property this close to the beach. Two car garage was nice. I was concerned my Tundra wouldn't fit. It was tight but we made it. Would definitely reserve this again.

This property is in a prime location to shopping, restaurants and beach access. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean and had the nice little extras of soaps/conditioner/shampoo. Spa tub was nice extra to relax after a day of being on your feet. Kitchen had plenty of amenities and basics.
We didn’t use the TVs or the bbq. We did enjoy the coastal views every morning and evening from the balcony.
The stairs are easy to navigate and not steep. Parking in garage was also a plus, we fit our one midsize SUV.
Check in/out was an easy process. Place is a gem.

Poor communication with management—only use VRBO for advertising. The rest is convoluted and checkin/check out a nuisance. Kitchen smelled sour so we had to clean sink and counters. Beds are rickety with bedding you would find in your grandmas basement—flat very old pillows, ugly comforter you wouldn’t give to a thrift store. The window to the patio was covered in some oily substance so we only could enjoy the view through all the power lines and screen. Great location, but Motel 6 is right there too. Overpriced and a pain.

This condo is steps away from the beach! It worked out perfect for our family and young son. Everything is within walking distance. It’s a very nice condo, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and great size. We loved the balcony with the ocean view. It looked just like the photos shown, no surprises. We have no complaints. The process from booking to checking out was very simple. We will definitely be renting again!

The location of the unit was fantastic. Our unit sat over the top of a retail business and we had a garage, however it’s needs some TLC! The tile shelf in the master shower was shattered, there are some wood floor planks coming apart and the bedding is very worn.

The condo had everything you would need to feel like home. There were a few things that could have been nicer, such as a rip in the bottom of the screen door, window in the master that was off, and the patio glass was hard to see through. My daughter cleaned the glass in the patio and we left it better than we left it. I still havent got the 500 deposit back and waiting for that. Over all it was a great vacation rental.

Close to the beach, clean, well equipped. We've stayed here multiple times due to the short walk to the beach, pier, and restaurants and it's great to have a parking space. If you've never been to Pismo, parking is at a premium. Also, love there's no crossing busy streets to get to the beach. Great for the kids.

Matches the area
Overall it was an ok stay. Pismo’s clientele along with its overall condition has declined. The place pretty much matched what you get with the town. As far as cleanliness, the front entrance was covered in sand and no evidence that they even try to clean it, other than that the windows and glass on balcony could be cleaner. As far as the place, it was decent although it appeared that it was designed around leftover cabinetry and building materials from another project. TV’s we’re small and didn’t work in wi-fi.

Stayed here for a family reunion. Couldn’t have asked for a better location for home base.
Check in and check out was very easy. Property management was great communicating throughout the process.

The location was perfect for our family. From the living room and balcony I could watch my older kids play while I was at the house with the two littles. This house has tile stairs that would have been hard for my husband if he had gone so it would have been nice to know about them before the trip. I did appreciate that they were outside the locked door so I didn't have to worry about my littles getting hurt on then. If I could change anything about the place I'd put a child lock on the knife drawer or move them to a higher location. The kitchen cabinets where the plates and cups are, are very high. A folding step stool in the house would have been nice. We have an oversized vehicle so we weren't able to park in the garage which meant we had to park around the block after loading and unloading our luggage. It wasn't a huge inconvenience since most things are in walking distance anyways but it would be nice to have the option to park out on the street for longer than 3 hours.

This place was a dream! Beautiful ocean views from the patio/living room area and right in the heart of the downtown area. The garage made parking & storing bikes so easy. The only small complaint is the two beds. One is very hard and squeaky and the other is too soft and tacos in the middle. Aside from that, everything you need for comfort is already here. Very clean and nice little extra amenities. Will be back for sure!

80th birthday celebration

Rental property was in a great location but main living area is really small. Pictures are kind of misleading. Also the furniture and rugs are filthy. I put sheets on the couch and chair so we could sit down. There were ripped screens and fans that were teetering and making noise all night long which was a problem because there is no a.c. and it was the main cooling mechanism at night. The owners really need to update the furniture it's dated and dirty but we still enjoyed the property location and found a way to make it work for us.

When we arrived the refrigerator was broken and there was water all over the kitchen floor. The management's solution was a non chalant "we're sending a cooler". We had to clean up the mess. For the price I was paying I expected, at the very least, an immediate appology and an offer of another comparable property. I had to suggest that and then spend 2 hours looking for something comparable and what they offered wasn't even remotely close to the original rental. After hours of running we stayed at the rental. The next day was filled with calls back and forth while trying to have an enjoyable time. I had to push for any compenstion and they were very reluctant. Only because of the location would I consider staying there again, but, I will probably try a different rental management company such as VRBO or Beach Bum rentals first. After all the disapointment we did have a good time and the location was spectacular. There was one person in the management office who stayed late and tried to help but had no authority to offer or discuss any compensation, problem solve, or even rental availability. It would have been much easier and less stressful if this person had some authority.

House was mostly as described, except when new blinds did not arrive in time for the living room/kitchen folded butcher paper was used to cover the windows, effectively blocking the oceanfront views we were paying good money to see. There were flimsy plastic clips that had no chance of containing floor to ceiling fan-folded paper, so after fighting with the tacky, uncontainable, white accordion from **** for about an hour after arrival, we just decided to take them down. Rest of the stay was good...until we checked out. I left my work phone on the kitchen counter. No problem I thought I'll have them ship it to me, heck I'll even pay for shipping, and a $20 fee seemed reasonable. That is until their cleaning lady pocketed my phone for 2 weeks, tried to open it 6 times, and didn't remember she had it, despite my calling 4+ times. I tracked the phone to her house using Google Maps. Only then my phone was returned. I was still charged shipping and the $20 fee. 2 weeks of work without a phone. Unacceptable.

My family has stayed at this property several times. The reasons why this review isn't an all around 5 star review is for the following reasons: 1) The place was not clean. There was spider webs on wall decor and hanging from the ceiling. Dusty vents, windows and blinds. There was alsdead insects in the window sills and tracks. The BEST thing about this property is the view and it is difficult to enjoy with the dirty, water stained glass balcony windows. EVERY time we stay at this property we've asked for the patio windows to be cleaned and they are always dirty. This time there were nice low patio chairs but the debris, sand and water stains on the light blue patio glass is so dirty, you can't even enjoy the view. It doesn't need a professional window cleaning. Just some routine TLC, a good cleaning solution and some good elbow grease. We tried cleaning them with some soap and water but it needs something stronger. Also, the dishes were dirty and had food crusted on them. We had to load the dishwasher with all dishes/utensils before using. 2) The living room decor and furniture has met its useful life. The couch and recliner are dingy and gross with visible stains, especially on arms. There isn't a dining table. There's an uncomfortable metal bench for additional seating. 3) There's always a problem with the WiFi router. This time the office was quick to send someone to fix but didn't have internet for a few days. 4) This time the TV worked but the multiple remotes are very difficult and confusing to use. Also, the TV screen is way too small for that space. I will say that the management company is quick to respond to things. The bbq grill wasn't working, they gave us a heads up and they promptly replaced. Tip: Bring ear plugs because you can hear lots of street noise from the master bedroom. You can't beat the central location of this place and the view. With a good, thorough, consistent cleaning and furniture upgrades, it'll shine.

The location it's great! The view from the living room was great. The house is not facing the beach, but from the balcony and from inside the house we were able to see the beach while resting after we arrived. The inside of the house provide us with a very relaxing set up. The main bathroom was more than we expected with a jacuzzi bathtub.
