Located in West Custer Township, this lovely house for $421 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Completely remodeled in 2019, the Aspen Hollow Cabin is a unique and thoughtfully decorated Black Hills vacation home featuring three main floor bedrooms. The master suite contains a king size bed and a private bath featuring a custom vanity and a beautiful tiled walk in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. There is a second bath on the main floor with a tiled tub and shower. The open concept main living area features a pet friendly wood-look tile floor, new furniture, and plenty of seating for the whole family. It also boasts an airy, vaulted reclaimed wood ceiling that opens into the cozy loft for additional living space. The loft contains a full sized futon for additional sleeping accommodations. The kitchen comes fully equipped with new appliances and everything you will need to prepare meals for your entire group. This home also has a large custom dining table with seating for everyone. Just off the kitchen and dining area is a patio and propane grill to enjoy the beautiful summer evenings. If you're ready for a night out, there are many great restaurants within a short drive. Other amenities include satellite TV, high speed fiber optic internet with Wifi, a flat-screen TV, an on-demand water heater, central AC, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. We have also added a hot tub! Enjoy a relaxing soak right outside your door after a long day of site-seeing in the Hills! Your vacation home is conveniently located just off of US Highway 16/385 between Hill City and Custer. The property borders the Mickelson Trail (bring your bikes!) If you are looking for motorized recreation, we have plenty of parking for motorcycles, ATVs, and trailers. It is minutes from Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Black Elk Peak, and many area trails and lakes, including Sylvan Lake, Sheridan Lake, and Pactola Reservoir. Or, step out your front door and visit our neighbors, Black Hills Aerial Adventures, for a helicopter ride to take in all the splendor the Black Hills have to offer!

The cabin was so clean and the decor western theme added to it. The welcome basket on the table bottle of wine and snacks top it off. Great location. The owner was quick to rely to my question. I would rent it again without a doubt

Response from the property manager when we inquired about cancellation was slow. Additional messages were not responded to at all. However, checkin info was timely, and we didn't require any additional contact after we checked in. Location was convenient to the Mickelson Trail and Hills attractions. There was a lot of road noise from the highway when we were outside, but was not noticeable in the house. Proximity to the Helicopter business was noisy but fun. Overall, property was as described, clean and well stocked.

Great VRBO for a relaxing vacation with everything you will need and just as advertised in the listing. Location works great for the central/southern Black Hills, and even a short walking path right up to the Mikkelson Trail. No hesitation at all for 5 stars.

Our family of 6 stayed in this beautiful home and felt so at ease. The location was easy to find, home was very clean and housed all 4 of our kids very comfortably. I adored the detail of the quilted pieces through the home, sheep skin rugs, style and decor and so appreciated the welcome box for our family! The out door space, swing and hot tub were a hit for all of us and our kids really enjoyed watching the helicopters land and take off near by. The inside of the home was quiet and peaceful!

The house was in an excellent location and it was very quiet, considering how close we were to the highway. We came to bike and the location on the Mickelson Trail was ideal. Kitchen was nicely equipt. Wonderful stay!

This is by far the best VRBO i have ever had. The house is clean, has updated finishes and appliances, and has plenty of room for 8 people (4 adults, 4 kids). The host was very responsive and provided a really cool welcome gift. I cannot say enough nice things about this rental. The location is excellent and the house had everything we needed any more. I will definitely rent this place again when i visit the Black Hills. I was surprised at the price for such a nice house. Really good value. highly recommended. Thank you!

Such a beautifully-decorated and clean place—one of our favorite vrbo’s to date! The hosts thought of everything and provided all the necessities and more (loved the welcome basket!). Great communication. We were originally concerned the helicopters might be too loud but even our most sensitive sleepers didn’t notice anything. The beds were very comfortable and soft and supportive enough for one of our family members with arthritis (a HUGE plus). Exceeded our expectations!

We loved our stay here! The cabin was perfect for 2 adults and 5 kids. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect, just far enough out of town to be quiet and cozy, but still only minutes from a lot of the attractions we visited. It snowed while we were there, something new for my Texas kiddos. They loved playing in the snow! We saw wild turkeys in the front yard every afternoon, deer in the woods behind the house, and the chipmunks came right up to the patio doors looking for snacks. Having access to the hiking trail right out the backdoor was so convenient. We took the kids on a nice little hike every evening. Communication with the owners was fantastic. We messaged them to see what we needed to do before check out and Jack told us they would take care of everything. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to stay in the area!

This is a lovely house, with everything you need to stay and be home away from home. The location is remote, no neighbors other than the helicopter tour business. We stayed in the early spring and only saw one helicopter take off over a week. Everything was as advertised, clean and very comfortable! We would definitely stay again if traveling to the area. 10 minutes north of Custer, easy to get into town. Easy access to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and Crazy horse. We stopped at Walmart in Rapid City (45 minutes away) to stock up on groceries. Custer also has a grocery store but the prices were higher in the small town. Looking to workout - the YMCA in Custer had inexpensive day passes. Overall wonderful stay.

Had a great time seeing the local memorials & monuments! The property is right up the road from Custer and the Crazy horse memorial, short drive to Mt Rushmore and breweries and wineries. Lots of space for a family and everything is nicely updated! Would absolutely recommend!

As frequent renters, we can truthfully say this cabin is absolutely a top tier accommodation. The property exceeded our expectations in every way! The kitchen contains everything a cook could possibly want for any size meal on the menu. We enjoyed a great night's sleep every day after visiting the national/state parks and shopping in the quaint town of Custer. The Black Hills area has much to offer for a fantastic getaway, and the Aspen Hollow Cabin is centrally located to all the attractions. You will love staying at this wonderful property!

Excellent stay Cleanest place Ive stayed We stayed for 3 days( myself and spouse and our daughters 4 and 5 to and my parents). It was an easy checkin and checkout. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The cabin is next to the helicopter tour place and close to the highway but it is so quiet inside - we couldn’t hear any of the road noise and barely any noise from the helicopters. It was fun to watch the helicopters come and go and they only run from 9-6. We enjoyed the mickelson trail which was right out back from the cabin and loved the hot tub after long days away hiking. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We were incredibly impressed with our stay at this property. The location was convenient—just off the highway but tucked away so you didn’t feel like it. We made so much use of the Mickelson trail behind the property, and our 4 year old (okay the adults too) loved watching the helicopters take off. The house itself was nicely updated. We’ve seen a lot of cheap “flip” rentals in our travels, but this one felt like the owners truly cared about nice materials and touches throughout. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and homey stay, and the owners didn’t request any over-the-top cleaning upon exit. They provided thoughtful suggestions for area attractions in their welcome book (Skogen Kitchen for the win!) and delighted the family with some treats upon arrival. With beautiful views, a convenient location, homey touches, and much thoughtfulness, we would absolutely stay again.

We spent 2 nights here during our 9 day road-trip from GA to SD in a camper van. It was a welcome break from being cooped up. Jack and Lindy’s home is as described - better, actually. The house was well-appointed, immaculate, cozy and near all the sites we were there to see. Thank you for being dog-friendly! Our pups loved stretching their legs too.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy. They were easy to communicate with. Location was awesome! We really loved being by the helicoptour tours. We loved being able to watch them take off and land, and could rarely hear the noise if inside the house. This was a great experience. Will definitely be back!

We had an awesome time here! It was centrally located for everything we wanted to do. The home was just as described, we loved having morning coffee in the backyard. The kitchen was well supplied as was everything else. I highly recommend this place!! We will definitely stay here again!
