Lovely location and garden. Helpful host

Great location close to lots of places. Good size for one medium to large family. We are family of 4 and had more bedrooms than needed but communal space just right for us. Nothing really in walking distance if you require that (there is a pub, we didn't try it) but plenty less than half hours drive away. A pretty village. Fantastic garden and garden games/ paddling pool/ hot tub. Unfortunately it rained the whole week but in good weather we would have been out there all day and evening. Very helpful host. En suite bath has lovely view. Good WiFi (poor phone reception if that's relevant to you...wasn't to us...)

Everything was to a good standard and we have no complaints. We have stayed in similar standard places for less and although it is very lovely, it isn't really "5 star" or luxury in my opinion if that is what you are after. I don't think it would work for 2 families but for our family of 4 was great as we had a spare bedroom (the adjoining one) and plenty of space to eat/ watch TV etc. The hosts property does overlook the garden a little and is very close. Not a huge issue for us but if you want secluded privacy this is not for you.

Brilliant cottage with great garden

Brilliant cottage, well equipped. Garden was great with hot tub and garden games. Welcome basket was a nice touch and host was friendly.

The mattresses on the double beds were too soft, slept fine but sore back each morning.

Great stay, and lovely property. Tracy was lovely and very accommodating and welcoming.

Property was lovely, was very clean. Lovely touches with the games and outdoor games too (due to weather didn’t use). The hot tub was clean and a great size.

Lovely house, good location.

The house it’s self was lovely, everything you could want, including Disney+ etc it is between an eight and 12 minute drive from Glastonbury, there is a pub two doors down, which seemed nice although we did not go in. The beds were extremely comfortable, and all essentials present, we were even given a lovely gift basket full of treats.

two bedrooms are interlocking, no problem if you are close. The owners are on site, the lady is very nice. For us personally it was a bit too close. we didn’t like the fact or see the need for the hot tub levels to be tested everyday, after all it’s just a hot tub and easy to maintain, this was mentioned in the handbook, so this would mean entering when we weren’t there, whether or not it happened I cannot say but if it did, we are very uncomfortable with that, as it just isn’t right. The view that you see in the photographs isn’t actually visible from the garden as that is completely covered with fences and you can’t see anything at all unless you stand up on the wall which was a real shame. These are just personal preferences that we have and to someone else may not be an issue at all, it is literally just down to personal preference, The house is perfect but our personal preference would be somewhere where we just have complete privacy.

Amazing stay! group booking of 8 adults perfect thank you!

Cosy property and clean,the host also gave us recommendations of restaurants take away etc and plenty of games to keep us occupied. We loved our stay.

The only thing I would say it’s next to a noisy busy road but if your not a light sleeper you will be fine.

Tracy was an amazing host the welcome package was brilliant and the house, garden was better than we could have hoped for.

The traffic noise, but the host can't be responsible for that

Exceptional

Great garden activities, with lots of games to play on the lawn. Hot tub and splash pool were added bonus

Everything was great, only small problem with the upstairs toilet that wouldn't flush properly as the flushing handle just span round and round but not a big issue.

Great location, cosy cottage, lush hot tub and BRILLIANT host!

Lovely to have Tracy meet us when we arrived and show us around the property - especially as we were a last minute booking due to our other holiday being cancelled due to the weather. The location is superb - easy access to so many local attractions. The hot tub is a proper bonus. Tracy was quick to pop over if we had a query and was just altogether a wonderful person - we felt very looked after! Several of our party of 6 are planning to book again with their families.

We would have loved a couple of squashy sofas and chairs instead of the ones that were there, as they were quite uncomfortable. This was simply due to the fact that the weather was rubbish, so we spent a lot of time watching the TV! I'm sure in lovely sunny weather, we would have spent all our time outside going on trips or playing with the brilliant range of games in the huge garden and dipping in the plunge pool!

Great family holiday

Very comfortable for 5 adults and 2 children, though not scarily luxurious. Fans in all the bedrooms. The hot tub was excellent, especially on the cooler drizzly evenings, and on the few sunny days the plunge pool was fab. Hosts (Tracey and Simon) were excellent- friendly and accessible, but unobtrusive, checking the chemicals in the pools every few days. The welcome pack was lovely and the kitchen and bathroom essentials were all provided. The badminton and croquet sets got good use. Excellent location for visiting the sea side and NT properties too, and there were a lot of suggested places to visit.

Village internet was too slow to run a work laptop and phone at the same time, but we had been warned. No shade in the garden on the few sunny days we had.

Lovely cottage, fantastic hosts.

Cottage is stylish, clean, well laid out with good parking in a lovely location. Hosts are friendly and a lovely welcome pack including homemade apple crumble. Hot tub super as is outside dining area and the whole garden is immaculate.

The village WiFi isn’t great which was challenging when trying to work or stream to the TV. Would have been helpful to have a bit more seating round the TV for family viewing.

Wonderful break with friends

Wonderful home equipped with everything you could possibly need, nice extra touches like the very thoughtful welcome hamper and freshly cut flowers, even gave us cans of coke when we ran out!
