I love this historical hotel, it’s stunning and a must to stay in when in Glastonbury

* Check-in great.
* Staff all really friendly & helpful.
* The character of the building is almost alive,you can feel the history in it.
* We dined & the food service was superb, good food & hot [ Which may sound obvious but So many places serve "Warm' food].
* Our suite - N0 7 Abbot Whiting room was perfect, looking out onto the high st & we loved the touch of the radio with Classic FM on as we entered, it really made a difference not entering a silent room somehow, & lovely welcome note handwritten by the staff.
* Our shower Head did not work as was blocked, No drama we unscrewed it and had a "Hose pipe" shower , The staff would not of known about this unless told so we left a note detailing it on our departure.
* Someone bumped our car parked in the council car park at the rear leaving us with a nice bill to get a dent in the rear addressed, [ Nothing to do with hotel we know].

Lovely old pub in the centre of Glastonbury with history
We stayed in a top floor room and it was suuuuuuper hot in summer. No air conditioning, of course, and fans were provided, but windows barely open (they don't open more than 10 cm due to safety locks) so it was not possible to get the cool night air in. I think that they should have at least a better ventilation system put in if they are to be rented out in July/August
