A little tired but absolutely acceptable

We booked this hotel on the morning of our stay, as our original booking at a different location was suddenly cancelled. The hotel was a little dated on the exterior, but inside was much nicer than we envisaged. The location was great, a short walk to the local high street and an amazing outlet area we didn’t know was there. We were a very short drive from Glastonbury and the Wookey Caves, where we wanted to visit. The only real negative side was that the room was very warm so we had to have the windows open meaning we could hear a lot of traffic noise, had it been later in the year when the weather was cooler this would not have been an issue (it was the August bank holiday weekend)

good size room. view nice. staff very helpful
Breakfast fine. Good parking and a good location near the town.
the shower was very difficult to use - to get started and the water went all over the place!
the toilet flush was temperamental.
the room was extremely hot even with a fan which was provided. it was difficult to sleep.
The pillows need renewing.
