Our group of four adults absolutely loved this super cute home in a quiet neighborhood. It was close enough to town that you could easily bike, walk, or jog into the main district (about 2 miles), but far enough out to feel like you were truly in the mountains. There is also a nice secondary road into town that we enjoyed taking to avoid the main #550 highway.
The home itself was beautiful, with a nice wraparound porch and a large circle driveway with plenty of parking. Truck and trailer parking was plentiful but worked best on the road (which is on a hill).
The house had all the essentials we needed, and the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room were well stocked. We only used the TV once, but it worked great and had access to all the streaming services you could need. One of our favorite things was all the wildlife that came right into the yard! We watched lots of deer, including babies, walk right up to our bedroom windows.
This home is a beautiful, place to stay, with all the amenities that we needed and we would highly recommend it!
The home does not have air conditioning, which is customary in mountain homes, but we were never uncomfortable. The built-in ceiling fans kept things comfortable.
There are no bedrooms on the main floor, but there are only a few stairs to navigate to get to either the lower floor or the upstairs loft.. The upstairs loft bathroom has a nice soaker tub but no shower, so anyone staying upstairs will need to use the lower-level bathroom for showers.

We did not bring toiletries as they were in the description, but there was only shampoo/soap for one person to shower once. We had 4 people and 3 nights.

Loved the serene deck off of the master bedroom. The house was not even 2 miles from the town of Ouray.
