We have been visiting Lucca for over a decade as a family member owned a property. It has therefore been a mission to find an apartment suitable for our now family of 4 inside the walls - the host Stefano’s apartment did not disappoint! Incredible location inside the walls but far away enough from the hustle and bustle of via Fillungo. Very quiet with a beautiful garden. A welcomed outside shed for laundry. Clean and fully equipped with more than enough space for our baby and 5 year old to play. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms with fantastic air conditioning. Stefano kindly met us with the keys and showed us around the property. When we required a drying rack he promptly purchased one. He was responsive to all requests and very kind.
Free parking a short walk or pay parking in the Piazza.
We look forward to returning very soon!
Minor hob/electricity issues which the host is aware of which didn’t greatly impact our stay. From the first bedroom closest to the street you can hear comings and goings in the building / some petrol smells if window is open but this is no problem as we’re city folk!

Great communication from the host. Met us at the apartment on arrival showed us around and gave local information for shops. We arrived late due to airport delays however the host was very accommodating over arrival times.
The host supplied hand soaps, towels etc in all bathrooms, bug and insect plugins were all supplied which was a very nice touch. The host left a selection of cakes and pastries which was a very nice touch.
I would recommend the host and apartment and if we were ever again in Lucca i would re-book.
Our booking was for 5 people and due to the size of the apartment there was plenty of room for more.
Could be noisy due to solid floors and apartment above. This is no detriment to the host its the age of the building.
From the front bedroom (only) the street noise could be heard. Again this is no fault of the apartment or the host.
