Strongly in need of updates

Close proximity to town Cabins look great on the outside

The place is clearly in need of updates. The floors creak, even when noone is walking. If you are a light sleeper, this will keep you up all night as it did for me. The ceiling fan adds to the noise as it rickets when used. There is a 32" tv in the living room. That sits on a rickety stand. Any attempts adjust th3 screen placement is met with the stand wobbling a lot, appearing as though the stand will fall at the slightest touch. There is a dingy smell that is noticeable upon opening the door. The place gives wanna be AirBnb as you are required to do all of the cleaning. The unfortunate thing about this is that everyone's definition of clean can be vastly different. Every dish had to washed as each had a grimey greasy feel to them. The kitchen towel appeared to have been used for numerous stay, as it had the same grimey feel as the dishes, with a little grease mixed in. The shower wall and mirror was covered in long brown curly hair. All travelers have short hair. It seems as though the chimney may need to be cleaned. The flue was opened and checked each time for safety. When the fireplace was used on both occasions, smoke billowing into the cabins for hours. Attempts to open windows to clear the the air was difficult. Each windows required a significant amount of effort to open and close. Though they state they are pet friendly, they are very strict with their policy. You cannot leave your pet alone, even if they are crate trained. I thought this would not impact the stay, but we were restricted on things we could do as we did not feel right keeping our dog in the car. Will not be staying here again as the other places in the area may cost more, the rooms are clean with modern amenities in each room.

Enjoyed our stay

Great location

First time to Cloud Croft, so out and about a lot. Although the cabin and interior were older eve

It was an older cabin, but we enjoyed it. I was very impressed that the 1950’s vintage refrigerator was still working

Not in the cabin long, but parking on the little hill was trying

Good place to stay with the essentials

Close to the park. Great place if you have a dog accompanying you on your stay. I would recommend.

It's would be tough with a bigger trailer if you had multiple ATV's on the property. Worked with a single ATV trailer though.

The property is beautiful.

The beds are terrible. Those mattresses are so uncomfortable. Made for a miserable night
