Good

The cabin is located up a winding road on a steep hill in the mountains, so be prepared! Luckily we have an SUV so we didn’t have any trouble making it up there but it could be problematic for smaller cars. The GPS took us straight there without any issues. The cabin is located in a beautiful and peaceful woodsy area. Very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch. The cabin is in a remote area so be sure to plan ahead for food, gas, etc. other necessities. We appreciated the guestbook with detailed information and local attractions and the guestbook. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The furniture in general seems a bit old and worn out. Specifically the largest bed seemed to be the worst - it’s super squeaky. The linens (bedsheets, blankets, towels, pillows) looked/felt old and worn out. Overall it was clean but there were some areas (bathroom shelving and bedroom nightstands) that had dust on them. Upon arrival the cabin was very cold at about 42 degrees, it took over 4 hours to heat it up. We didn’t use the fireplace or space heater, we found it too complicated to figure out.
