Terrible experience, left after one night

The property was clean inside.

The property is directly opposite numerous clubs and bars, this was not made at all clear on the advert. The music continued until 2am, following which people congregated outside the flat screaming and shouting until 5am. The police were outside much of the night due to fighting. My children were petrified. We were all awake all night. We were unable to open any windows due to this and the flat was baking. We had booked two nights but left after one due to this being such an unpleasant place to stay. I contacted the owner about it on two occasions and he has failed to return any messages. I would strongly avoid this property unless you are planning to be out into the early hours.

Not family friendly

The apartment was clean. Nice furniture.

Definitely not family friendly or suitable for young children at all. Night clubs & pubs opposite & all around, the noise from the music was so crazy loud until 3am. Drunk people fighting & wee'ing on the doorstep. Drunk fights well into the small hours right outside. No safety locks on the bottom section of sash windows, so easily opened & very dangerous, as could fall from the 1st floor onto a busy street. Had no sleep, children besides themselves with tiredness. It was so bad we decided not stay the second night we had booked & had to cut our trip short. Had no response from the host since messaging the first night.

Nice apartment but noisy

Clean, nicely decorated, easy access, good communication, comfortable beds

The apartment is right next to a night club that played loud music outside until 3am, kept us up both nights. The windows are sash windows so don't keep the sound out at all. Wouldn't recommend unless you can sleep through loud music.

Exceptional

The flat is on the first floor but steps are not a problem. The rooms are nice and modern, the facilities work well and you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. We got some biscuits and water to welcome us. The flat has plenty of room for making meals and catering. The sofa in the living room is convenient, the tv is really huge. The bedrooms are also very convenient, however, the double bed is so huge that little space remains for anything else. Electric heating also worked all right. The bathroom is also perfect, nice and spacious, however, there is no bath only a shower. But this is again not a problem. It was easy to get the key for the front door from a lock box and we received everything we needed to know to get into the apartment via messages in due time. The location is central which means that partying youngsters with loud music are close on weekends but soundproofing is high quality so the level of sound was OK.

A wardrobe or closet would be handy for clothes.

Good accommodation

The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped with all cooking/cleaning stuff & at the centre of the town, but not close to the train station.

There's a club close by, so it's very noisy on Fri & Sat nights until like 2 to 3am. There's not enough space for clothes hanging or storage. Lastly, the shower heating is difficult to control, it's either a bit cold or too hot.

5 star weekend with family

Beautiful apartment with great central location. Apartment had everything we needed. High standard of decor and cleanliness. Would highly recommend and hopefully we can stay here again in the future. Quick, helpful and professional communication with owner.

Not so much of a stress free weekend break

It was clean.

We stayed at Flat 1 and it was not so much of a break. The handwash in the bathroom was almost empty and there was no refills. The shower head was tied to the shower holder, so you couldnt adjust it. The end flooring at the bottom of the main door and bathroom door was loose. When closing the shower door, you had to be careful because it couldnt close properly because of the bottom rollers was not connected in.The fan was so dirty, that when we hung our clothes, the fluff from the fan went onto our clothes. Flat 1 was very different from flat 3 which we previously rented on one of our weekend breaks.

Location was excellent. 2 min walk from car park and town centre. Great facilities. Takeaways nearby

The property is located next to a nightclub that plays extremely loud music between 10pm and 3am on both Friday and Saturday night. The loud music coupled with the drunk shouting clubbers meant no sleep until after 3.30am each night!

Relaxing get away in a nice little town

There were plenty of shops and food places just a short walk away and the car park was only a few minutes around the corner. It also helped that you could pay for parking on a local app so it meant you didn't have to go to the car every day to buy a ticket. The kitchen was a perfect size and we had plenty of cleaning products to use. The master bedroom was a good size and we loved the fact it had a TV. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The shower worked well and there were plenty of towels to use. We also liked the dressing table that was in the second bedroom, along with the long mirror in the entrance hall.

The road became very noisy at night so it was hard to sleep with the windows open. The sofa wasn't comfortable as it is a sofa bed and we could feel the wooden frame. We had some trouble with the TV in the living room as it kept freezing and there was often a delay with the speech and picture. Having some oven gloves and scissors in the kitchen would be useful as there was only one tea towel.

Excellent place to stay!

Wow, just what I needed when working away from home. This apartment was fantastic, spacious, clean and the host was great with well documented details for arrival. I definitely recommend this apartment and will book again as soon as I am back in the area.

The apartment is fantastically presented and in a very central location.

Only small issue we had was that we had to chase for the Door codes to check in. Check in was from 3pm and we didnt get the codes after chasing until 3.40pm.
