Me and my two daughters were really looking forward to our stay in Kinosaki.
The Kinosaki Knot, and the proprietor Yoshi, made the stay there very enjoyable.
The traditional and beautiful surroundings of the Kinosaki Knot made the stay a special one.
I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee (or tea) in the sitting area while music played softly in the background. Thank you.
Yoshi was a (smiling) gracious host. He also gave excellent travel advice.
Us being taught by Yoshi how to properly tie the traditional fabric bag to carry our items to the Onsens was a very special moment for us. Renting our Yakutas there was very convenient. I was also grateful to discuss, study and admire Japanese construction with Yoshi as that is my profession. So much history.
Staying in a traditional room with a tatami floor and sleeping on futons was also very special, and comfortable for us.
Family Mart is right around the corner which was convenient for a snack.
The location was perfect for walking around the town. We also did a day trip to Takeno beach. We were the ONLY ones on the beach. It was perfect day and very beautiful.
We made really wonderful memories, and we look forward to returning to Kinosaki, and the Kinosaki Knot.

The best thing about Kinosaki Knot is the host. He is truly one of the kindest people I've ever met. He provided such great recommendations, answered any & all my questions, and insisted on helping me carry my big ass bag up the stairs (multiple times)! I also love that you can easily rent a yukata (robe) for your stay & clean towels are free to grab at any time! This place is the best deal in Kinosaki Onsen, especially for solo travelers seeking more budget-friendly options!! <3

We had a 6-Bed-Room just for ourselves and enjoyed it.
Having a shared bathroom is never ideal, but we knew it in advance and it was very clean and nice. It is a bit of a walk to all the Onsen but 100% worth saving the enormous price difference ot the others.
All footwear is one-size so we couldn't use them.
Other than that really nice, chatty stuff.
