I would not stay again, the host is personable , but the value received for the price is not great.

The serene setting around the home , good trails and restaurants near by.

The porch had dog poop all over it, there was mold in the bathroom, the entire unit is due for repair and upgrades, The mattress had cigarette holes in it.

This was the biggest letdown on a trip that I've booked with Booking.com.

They accommodated a late arrival.

I am writing to formally report a very concerning experience with a property I booked through Booking.com in Lake George. The conditions of this property were so far below acceptable standards that I believe it constitutes false advertising and should be reviewed for removal from the platform. I am also requesting either a refund or a credit for this stay. I took the time to write this detailed review because the experience was so disappointing and misleading that I felt it was important to fully document the issues. To begin, I will acknowledge that the host was accommodating regarding my late arrival, which I appreciated. However, that was unfortunately the only positive aspect of the stay. Access to the unit requires walking down wooden stairs to the front entrance. The entrance area in front of the door was covered in ice that had not been fully cleared, creating a serious slipping hazard. There were also numerous cigarette butts scattered near the front of the house, which was an extremely unwelcoming first impression. Additionally, large icicles were hanging near the front door and actively falling, which posed a potential safety hazard. When entering the unit, there was no doormat to dry off from the wet and snowy weather. The ceramic tile floor inside was extremely slippery as a result. Immediately upon entering, it was clear that the unit had not been properly cleaned. In the master bedroom, there was insufficient bedding for winter conditions. The air conditioner was still installed in the window and not covered. The ceiling fan had a noticeable buildup of dust, and the carpeting left animal hair all over our socks when we walked around. Even more concerning were the safety issues. There were missing smoke detectors in the dining room area. The smoke detector in the bedroom did not have batteries, and another smoke detector appeared to be completely missing. This is a serious safety concern for any guest staying at the property.

Nice place great price

I was close to town. It's a nice place with plenty of room . The shower was amazing and it has tub!! The price for what you get is fantastic . I'll definitely book this again

This person shouldn’t charge people to stay here. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here.

Nothing. I wish I could upload pictures of how dirty the place is. Smells like pee all over bugs crawling out the pipe. Fridge don’t work, bathrooms is disgusting.

Everything. I wouldn’t stay here for free. There are public restrooms that are cleaner than this one.
