We loved the size of the property. Vaulted ceiling made it feel roomy. Clean, well fitted out. Lovely kitchen. Nice welcome pack touch of eggs, milk, bread etc. good communication and suggestions what to do and go.
It was a little out of the way, which meant a lot of driving in lanes, but we did know that, and did like the quiet country

We arrived earlier than expected so the welcome pack was not in the lodge, however Gill got it to us quickly for a very welcome cup of tea after a long journey. Unfortunately there was no margarine but it wasn’t really an issue to pick some up. Lodge itself was very spacious and comfortable with everything in it you could need. Super clean.
TV reception was poor on some channels. Kids screaming at 7:15 Sunday morning but no idea whose kids they were.
