The room was clean and spacious and had a private bathroom and aircon.
The location was walking distance from the fort.
The host was friendly, but communication was scarce.
They allow early check in at no extra cost which was very convenient.
The bed was pretty uncomfortable. The mattress was old and very thin, so I didn't sleep well. I was a bit disappointed since it was my last night in the country before a night flight.
If they changed the mattresses the value of the room would increase drastically.
The breakfast was also quite basic. I missed the Sri Lankan breakfast because it needed to be ordered the night before. However, I was not advised of this.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful.
The rooms are not very clean, and some of the walls have moisture damage.
