Mi Lugar Maldives

The peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful location, the friendly staff and the feeling of being away from mass tourism. Mi Lugar is a very special place to relax, slow down and simply enjoy the Maldives. We also really appreciated the personal and warm hospitality. Die ruhige Atmosphäre, die wunderschöne Lage, das freundliche Personal und das Gefühl, fernab vom Massentourismus zu sein. Mi Lugar ist ein ganz besonderer Ort, um zu entspannen, zur Ruhe zu kommen und die Malediven einfach zu genießen. Besonders geschätzt haben wir auch die persönliche und herzliche Gastfreundschaft.

The name “Retreat & Spa” creates somewhat different expectations from a German perspective. There is no classic spa area as you would typically expect in a European hotel, so personally, I would consider leaving the word “Spa” out of the name. What also bothered us was the cleanliness of the island and the beach. As tourists, we pay additional environmental and tourism taxes, so we expected the island to be kept cleaner. Unfortunately, there was quite a lot of rubbish in some areas. Especially overnight, plastic and other waste was often washed up onto the beach and was not always removed promptly. This was a real shame, because the island itself is absolutely beautiful. Die Bezeichnung „Retreat & Spa“ weckt aus deutscher Sicht andere Erwartungen. Ein klassischer Spa-Bereich, wie man ihn aus europäischen Hotels kennt, ist nicht vorhanden, daher würde ich den Begriff „Spa“ eher weglassen. Was uns außerdem gestört hat, war die Sauberkeit der Insel und des Strandes. Als Tourist zahlt man zusätzliche Abgaben, unter anderem mit der Erwartung, dass die Insel sauber gehalten wird. Trotzdem lag immer wieder viel Müll herum. Besonders über Nacht wurde häufig Plastik und anderer Abfall an den Strand gespült und blieb dort teilweise liegen. Das war schade, denn die Insel selbst ist wunderschön.

Posizione e vicinanza dal mare Tranquillità e relax Ragazzi disponibili

Nonostante la giovane età, la struttura appare vecchia e non curata. Frutto di una gestione superficiale e sicuramente mal gestita “dall’alto”. I ragazzi in struttura sempre disponibili ed educati, gran lavoratori, ma lasciati a loro stessi in balia della gestione. Pulizia delle camere da rivedere, condizioni igieniche molto basse (es. cucina). In 4 giorni di soggiorno le camere non sono mai state toccate (cestini, lenzuola, asciugamani). Gestione in generale raffazzonata e molto precaria.
