A great historic property in great location. I opted for 20 metre room with balcony - a wonderful space with original balcony doors. However was austere with no bedside light or mirror. A minor makeover with sympathetic furnishings and colour would make it a superb room. The main shared bathroom was good - but the very small second bathroom was poor - cramped- hot and cold shower, not cleaned. Main reception area lounge voluminous and lovely. With a bit more thought and customer orientation this could be a fantastic property. Overall I have no regrets staying there - in fact I thought it was a bit of a gem and very good value.
