The apartment itself is squeaky clean and welcomes you with a pleasant scent. It has everything you need for a short stay, including an iron. Contrary to some of the reviews, I didn’t find the place overly loud.
We had informed the host of our arrival time, but still had to wait around 20 minutes for someone to show up. The building is quite run-down, and you enter through a small door that’s cut out of a larger one- it sits quite some distance above street level, so you have to step up to get in. This could be inconvenient if you’re carrying large suitcases.
The apartment’s furnishings are a bit worn. The coffee machine was broken, and closing the shower door took quite a bit of effort. The pillows were very firm- if I hadn’t been so tired from sightseeing, I would have had trouble falling asleep.
