Location, price, cleanliness, public bath and amenities. They provided all the things you need in onsen and women's bathroom area. Ear plugs,Toothpaste and brush, hairbrush, lotions, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer and plenty of lockers and seats to work on hair and face. Capsule is clean, safe. Lots of bathrooms and had laundry in women’s area. I stayed in August and there were many fans in capsule area so temp and ventilation felt great.
Bed was a little hard. between 10 am - 4 pm, you can't access the capsule. But that's ok because it's peak sightseeing time.

It is a short walk from the station, and there is a convenience store nearby.
You can easily walk to tourist spots like Ameyoko and Ueno.
The hotel will keep your luggage.

Very clean and modern. Amazing location for Ueno Park
Very systematic with wrist bands to unlock doors, trade in wristband for shoe locker key, pay using machines. Too rigid and formal. Staff barely spoke English but did have translator devices. If tattooed they say you cant use the shower facilities. Due to " "culture" in other words discrimination systematized. Oh and their breakfast blt sandwich, the only option for my stay, was horrid.
