Location location location. Many trails accessible from this location. We hiked from condo to base of lower pond trail. ❤️❤️❤️

Outstanding, would rent again

The place had the basics. The view is amazing!!! The heat are floor heaters and was very warm inside when we got there. We ended up turning the heaters off so it was below 80 degrees inside. Please be aware that you need to get dishwasher detergent or dish soap, as you are required to clean the dishes but they do not provide these items.

The toilet was sprayed down with cleaner but they forgot to wipe it down. The couch was pretty dirty with large, water(?) stains on it and just kind of grungy. I actually put a towel down on it to sit on it. I could see this really bothering some people but we were just happy to be away. Overall, I would recommend staying here. We stayed in a different unit a year ago and it was also very nice.

The scenery/view is probably worth the price of admission, but it's a nice, quiet location in mountains with a few good restaurants within walking distance. Also an easy drive to a lot of good places like Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, etc. Whole family loved the place.

The one downside was the multiple inetrruptions concerning sealing the parking lot. First from a woman claiming to represent the homeowners group and telling me I had to park outside the lot beginning Tuesday for a Wednesday job. I told her we were leaving Wednesday morning and being handicapped I could not do that. Later her husband showed up at the door saying they passed the info. to the building manager. Tuesday a crew showed up and started spraying the parking area. A worker came to the door and asked us to move our car for a few hours. Since we had no plans to go out we complied and the workers sealed the lot. The odor was horrific and made us nauseous. Wednesday morning we moved the car back to the door and loaded up to leave as planned without further incident. During Tuesday day a maintenance person showed up at the door. After knocking he came in before I could get to the door. He said he was checking for water damage. We let him examine the bathroom. These interruptions considerably upset my wife.

The pictures on this listing doesn’t do it justice!! This has to be one of the best views around. You can sit on the deck and look at Beech Mountain’s slopes and have deer walk right up to the deck. We are already planning for next year’s trip!!

Huge benefit of this rental during this time of year. Short drive to all amenities on Beech. Banner Elk is less than 10min. As well.
