Disappointing

Good location

This family bach needs a good clean and an update to make it suitable to rent to 8 people. Black mould in several places. Short on cutlery and dishes. We opened all windows and gave it a good clean when we arrived.

We would not recommenmd this place until the owners get their act together

The location. The inside of the house has been renovated and is comfortable.

Fridge had not been properly cleaned and stank. Washing machine did no operate and was not fixed despite our asking Bachcare to get it fixed. Air conditioner unit made high pitched noise. No broom to sweep the floor. Clothes dryer in garage which was full of junk.

Excellent place to stay as a big family

It was a family tangi which was close to the familys homes. The mokos loved the park accross the road. It was a short trip but long and energy drawn so was nice to arrive with no concerns.. house was lovely and warm and catered well for 9 people and a baby.

Leaving at 615am on Sunday morning to catch boat, wanted to at lease give carpet another vacuum, No concern with accommodation.

Poor

Nice view from the deck. Two bedrooms have en-suites, which is very convenient. Playground for kids in 3 minutes walk.

Got a message on facebook two weeks after the rent, that we left the house "not cleaned up". Sure, some cleaning was required after three days of stay with the kids. However, we did clean and vacuum whatever is possible every day of our stay. And, it should be mentioned, that we paid NZD 157.04 cleaning fee per stay. What for, if not for some general vacuuming? Another issue with this house and the company which operates it that I am getting dozens of spam emails from them now. Think twice before rent.
