I had chosen this place because of its peace. We rented the whole property with a bunch of friends for our wedding and it was a fantastic place to find peace.

Such a beautiful location in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by the noise of animals and beautiful nature. You can see so many stars at night! Our group was big enough that we had the entire place booked out and it was such a unique, amazing experience with friends.
I was surprised how comfortable we were given the remoteness of the location. Beds were comfy, we had a fan in the room which was enough to be able to sleep through the heat and humidity, and there was (mostly) hot water. I was worried about scary insects but the most exotic thing we saw was a milipede in the shower.
The staff were super and very helpful with everything we needed, we even had a lovely member of staff making us local breakfasts (eggs, tomatoes, potatoes and beans) and coffee in the morning. Note that you need to bring all other food (and drinking water if you're not able to drink the local water) with you, because you're in the middle of the jungle. It's also probably good to have a car, but there is good free WiFi so you can call taxis/ubers without too much of an issue.
Would absolutely recommend this unique experience to anyone considering it!
One night we had no water at all from about 1am and never quite figured out what happened. It returned by 7am-ish.

Peaceful and beautiful. We had a large enough party that we booked the entire place and it was absolutely wonderful. A serene little ocean of peace in the jungle
